My Thoughts
Star Trek: Prodigy is an exciting new animated addition to the Star Trek franchise. This series brings us some younger characters that include six vivacious teens. They had a hard time in the past but form new bonds together and they travel through the galaxies. They aren't familiar with the ship, but they learn as they go and have a lot of fun along the way. This DVD set includes 10 outrageous episodes:

I've seen pretty much every series of Star Trek since Captain Kirk had the reigns, and they all had something different to offer. While normally I'm not a big fan of cartoons, I really enjoyed watching this series with my children. The new cast of characters are colorful and fun, and the shows have just as many exciting twists as the original. The animations allows for unlimited options as far as scenery and really enhances the show. I'm excited to see what happens in the next season.
