Emmy Award-winner Guy Pearce (Mare of Easttown) reprises his iconic role as Jack Irish, former criminal lawyer, and part-time debt collector, with a penchant for getting wrapped up in things he shouldn’t. The long-suppressed trauma of Isabel Irish’s brutal and random murder by Jack’s former client Wayne Milovich – which launched the first Jack Irish instalment, Bad Debts – rears its ugly head when Jack discovers there was more to those fateful events all those years ago. My Thoughts 

Jack Irish was a criminal lawyer but in this DVD set he's decided to switch sides after his wife is murdered. Now he's a part-time private investigator, trying to hunt down the same people he used to set free. On the side, he also works as a debt collector and both occupations get him into more than a little trouble. There are four episodes on this disk.

1- A cop is killed execution style and a friend asks Jack tries to find the about his friend's wife.

2- Barry's death is a considered a suicide and he's trying to track down Linda.

3 - Jack and Linda find Troy and Evie movies in with Sami.

4 - Linda refused to help Jack, but he finds his own validation on a boat.

I have to say Guy Pearce does and amazing job in this role. His brooding presence coupled with that nice physique is just the type of semi-bad boy that makes my heart thump. Knowing the sad plight behind his behavior just makes him even more appealing because you know there's a good guy under all the trouble. I am definitely hoping to see a set 3 out for Jack Irish in the near future because this is one show I just can't get enough of. Now that I've seen the show, I'm definitely going to have to get my hands on the books! If you want to get your hands on this great Blu-ray set, you can order Jack Irish season three on DVD at Acorn Media or on Amazon.
