My Thoughts
In Home Alone 2, Kevin McCallister finds himself separated from this family during the holidays for the second time. This time, he winds up in New York while the rest of his clan are in Florida. Kevin doesn't mind, though. He has his dad's credit card, and he is enjoying the luxuries of a fancy hotel until they are reunited. Things are going great until The Wet Bandits make an appearance. They escaped from prison and Kevin decides to help put them back where they belong. With his usual crazy antics, he tortures the bandits so much, they may just turn themselves in!
I grew up watching Macauley Culkin in the Home Alone series. I can't believe it's been twenty-five years since it was first released. It's become a holiday tradition, and I'm excited to share this movie with my kids. The slapstick humor is great, even though it would be a little unlikely that Kevin could cross paths with the same thieves again. The movie is packed with great moments. It would make a great stocking stuffer this holiday season. I just hope my rambunctious six-year-old doesn't get any ideas!
