Ride the massive open world of the Alps, where the powder is always fresh and the run never ends. Defy and master the world's most epic mountains on skis, wingsuits, snowboards, and paragliders. Go solo or drop in side by side with other players. Record and share the most insane stunts ever captured. Dare your friends to try out your custom lines, then challenge the world to beat your best tricks and relive your most epic wipeouts. The mountain is yours to explore. So strap in, suit up, and drop in.
My Thoughts
Steep for Xbox One is an awesome experience for those who enjoy interactive sports games. There are a variety of snow sports you can choose from including skiing, snowboarding, wing-suiting, and paragliding. There are several levels and many different challenges to choose from that get harder as you become more advanced. You can choose between riding solo or joining in with other players. You can even create custom paths that you can share with your friends.
When you're playing this game, it's almost a 3D experience. You really feel like you are on the slopes. The wing-suiting is especially exciting because it makes you feel like you're flying. The background scenery is beautiful and makes you feel like you are really outside on the snow-capped mountains. It's just not a cold which is a definite bonus! It's all the fun with none of the frostbite! One of the features my son really likes is that you can capture your best stunts and share them on social media.
This is an amazing game with stellar graphics. My teenage son found the levels challenging and entertaining. It never snows here, but at least my kids can enjoy the virtual experience of snowboarding and other exciting snow sports thanks to Steep. It is definitely helping them to get in the holiday spirit. You can grab a copy of this fun game for your family in stores nationwide or online on Amazon. It's the perfect stocking stuffer for teens.
