My Thoughts
In Cars 3, Lighting McQueen returns for another exciting adventure. He's still one of the top racers on the scene, but he's starting to get overshadowed by newer models, including the cocky Jackson Storm. Things get even worse when McQueen is in a horrible accident that takes him off the track. He's worried he may be out of the race permanently, but after a few improvements, he could be better than ever.
Cars 3 is an exciting film that is keeping a family tradition alive for us. My teen son loved the original, and he was happy to watch the third installment with his little brother. I loved seeing the return of so many of our favorites, and meeting the new additions. Another great aspect of the Blu-ray is that there are tons of fabulous extras including deleted scenes, a fun short where McQueen is teaching hopeful race car drivers, and a look at how real racing influenced the creators. If you are a fan of the franchise, you will want to have this DVD in your collection.
