The PeaPodMat is something I picked up for my mom. She is the caretaker for her sister who has Down Syndrome. As her sister ages, she is beginning to have major issues with incontinence. What I like about this protector is that is protects the sheets and not just the mattress. My mom is aging as well and it's not easy for her to get up in the middle of the night and change a full set of sheets. If there is an accident, she just has to remove the protector and the sheets beneath stay dry. There's no need to change the whole bed. If the protector becomes soiled, you can toss it in the washer and dyer without any issues.
The PeaPodMat is made from soft material, so its not uncomfortable to sleep on. It doesn't make the bed feel big and bulky. This protector has made all the difference for my mom and aunt and I highly recommend it for anyone with moderate incontinence.
