Consisting of 70% paperboard, the RETHINK Water package is biodegradable and 100% recyclable. Should the carton find itself in a landfill, instead of in a recycling center, the RETHINK package will compress and break down, as opposed to plastic, which holds its shape and endures for thousands of years. The Tetra-Pak container is additionally impenetrable to light and BPA-free, which prevents carcinogenic chemicals from leaking into the reverse-osmosis filtered water.

My Thoughts
Trying RETHINK with a package that wouldn't last thousands of years if I didn't put it in the recycling for whatever reason, appealed to me. I liked the packaging and the way it fit into my hand. I found it easy to drink from and I drank my water faster. I kept wondering if it was really 16.9 ounces, because I'd down the bottle quick.
Taste, that's probably what you're wondering. RETHING does have a slightly different taste that from a plastic bottle. It doesn't taste like cardboard. The inside is lined with a foil type material (or so it looked to my eye). The water did taste good, while it had a slight different taste. It wouldn't stop me from buying this in a store and drinking from it.
Over all, I really liked RETHINK. I liked the packaging a lot. It's eye appealing and easy to toss into bags, lunch boxes, purses, whatever. It can be recycled but it if ends up in the trash, with the type of packaging, you don't have to feel so guilty. I say give this water a try.

What a great idea. So much better for our environment. We need to be doing things like this for all products.
I've seen packages like this recently & it's a great idea. Less plastic is always good!
I love this idea! Plastic water bottles definitely make up the majority of the recycling and it's especially sad to think of them ending up in the trash.
Good idea for those who want a quick, portable water. I don't do plastic battles. Just refill my good bottle.
