My Thoughts

While all the items in the winner's list sounded great, there were that I knew would really appeal to my husband. He doesn't use many toiletries, but there are a few things he has to use regularly, like shampoo and shaving cream, so this are the items we decided to try out.

 Dove Men Care  Fortifying Shampoo - One of the things my husband really hates is how most shampoos smell so flowery. This one has an aroma that is fit for a man. The Aqua Impact Shampoo is made with ocean minerals and has a light fragrance that doesn't smell girlie. In addition, the caffeine strengthens hair and keeps it from breaking. My husband's hair is usually really course, but since he started use this, it's much softer and more manageable.

Nivea Men Sensitive Shaving Cream - This cream needs to be used with a brush to be really effective. With the brush, it creates a generous lather that coats your face in a layer of creamy protection. When my husband used this shaving cream, he had no issues with razor burn or breakouts. His skin has always been sensitive, but the ingredients in this are very gentle, didn't cause any irritation, and left his skin really soft. It does have a very slight fragrance, but it's very mild and barely noticeable.


My  husband was really happy with the results he received from these two products, and I'll definitely be exploring more of the winners of the  CEW Insiders’ Choice Beauty Awards. Be sure to look for these fabulous beauty products at your local CVS and other retailers nationwide.
