My Thoughts

Dora is all grown up! The little girl my children have grown up watching has changed a lot this year! She has a whole new crew of friends, a new show, and of course, new toys to go along with it. The Dora & Friends™ Talking Dora and Smartphone is a great way to get your kids  excited about Dora. It comes with everything you need to have a great time with one of their favorite characters.

First, let's talk a little about the doll. She is very well made. She has long black hair that's straight and easy to brush. It doesn't tangle easily  and her headband stays firmly in place. I just love her clothes. They are stylish, but also age appropriate. She's wearing a pretty dress, leggings and even shoes just like the outfit Dora wears on the show. Dora also talks and sings in both Spanish and English. She even lights up! There are sparkling lights along her dress, bracelet and phone.

Now lets move on to the really fun features. This Dora comes with her very own Smartphone and a full size phone for your child.  Like any self-respecting tween, Dora wants to keep in touch with all her friends and this phone is just the way to accomplish that. First, be sure to switch on the little button under her arm. Once you do this, Dora will actually interact with the Smartphone. She will talk to her friends in both Spanish and English, helping young kids develop their language skills in a way that just feels like fun. All you have to be is insert the charm into your Smartphone, select which friend you want to speak with, and soon you'll be connected.  There's even a "Map App" so you and Dora can explore together. My daughter loves this interactive  doll and plays with it for hours at a time.

This is good for little girls that have grown up with Dora.
