The wheel of the year turns, bringing the joy of spring, the warmth of summer, the richness of autumn, and the merriment of winter. But eight Celtic festivals link these seasons together, bringing with them romance, lust, danger, and even magic. From a city under threat from night-time creatures at Ostara, to a selkie caught by the light of the Lughnasadh moon, to a writer caught in the flames of a fiery goddess at Imbolc.
Eight authors have come together to give their own twist on these festivals, weaving each story with a blend of myth, magic, and contemporary telling…to create A Celtic Tapestry.

My Thoughts
Victoria thought the Christmas party would be just like any other, until she meets James Wellington. He has a girlfriend back in the UK, but the two can't resist each other. For Victoria, it's love at first sight, but James makes it clear that despite their mutual attraction, his life is already mapped out and he can't change fate. But fate, and a little Yule magic, have a way of making miracles happen.
Magic in Memphis is one hot short story. The chemistry between James and "Vix" actually had my glasses steaming up, but I also loved how the author weaved in elements of the pagan tradition along with the romance. I enjoyed the back story about Victoria's grandmother teaching her the old ways and her beautiful Yule rituals just as much as I rooted for James and Victoria to find a way to be together. This is one novella that proves there is more than one way to weave a little magic.
