Flojos, top manufacturer of high-quality sandals since 1979, celebrates 35 years of sandals and surf-inspired living with a new line of footwear for the smallest of sandal-wearers. With an emphasis on foot-cradling comfort features like egg-crate foam and padded straps, the summer 2014 kids’ line of sandals pampers toes while leading them out into the sun.
TOTS – For the tiniest feet, Flojos introduces trainer-sandals innovatively designed
to help toddlers learn to walk in sandals. The new Slide (pictured right; MSRP: $21)
features a thong-free, adjustable Velcro® strap across the bridge
and an elastic strap around the ankle, securing the foot in place as
tots take their first steps. Meanwhile, the cushioned, egg-crate sole
absorbs impact while also providing a textured
surface for improved grip. (Also available with a classic sandal strap
in the
Tyke sandal,
MSRP: $20.)
GIRLS –
Offering robust comfort features, in a slimmed-down feminine silhouette, the thin-strapped
Flora sandal (pictured right; MSRP: $19) offers girls the best
of both worlds. The unique, arch-supporting micro-egg-crate sole
bolsters freshly painted toes from harsh concrete and asphalt while also
offering a mini-massage for the feet.
BOYS
– The rugged Stealth
sandal (pictured right; MSRP: $24) helps fun-loving, adventurous boys
play all day in comfort. The thick and durable sole features Flojos’
contoured egg-crate foam for enhanced
comfort and control, while a wide and padded strap distributes tension
across the bridge of the foot and buffers feet from pinching or chafing.
Flojos
established itself as a force in the U.S. sandal arena in 1979 with the
introduction
of its Original Flojos. A rubber crisscross sandal design, the Original
Flojos was modeled after a traditional Mexican sandal favored by
beachcombers, fishermen and surfers since the 1960s. Today, Flojos is a
name
synonymous with fashion, comfort and style.
Recognized nationwide as one of the top beach sandal manufacturers,
Flojos is a top supplier for Flip Flop Shops, one of the fastest growing
sandal retailers.
The
2014 Flojos line includes numerous sandal, shoe and boot styles for
men, women, children and toddlers, and can be found nationwide in chain
stores,
surf shops, specialty stores and fashion boutiques, or online at www.flojos.com. My Thoughts
This year, I decided it was time to try out flip flops for my two preschoolers. They've worn sandals, but I was worried that flip flops wouldn't give them the support and traction they needed to keep from stumbling when they play. Flojos have always been one of my favorite brands, so I was excited to see they had flip flops designed just for kids. I was lucky enough to receive a few pairs and they are everything I hoped they'd be.
The Flojos kid's flips flops are made with a unique egg crate design that ensures your children will walk in comfort with every step they take. It addition to providing soft and comfortable padding, it also seems to help them maintain their friction. When I tried plain plastic flip flops, their feet were always sliding out of them. That doesn't happen with the Flojos. They stay firmly in place when they're walking or running, providing a solid grip that helps prevent unnecessary falls. Add to that the trendy styles, and you have a shoe that is definitely something to rave apart.
My kids loved their new Flojos and they come in so many fashionable colors, it's easy to mix and match. They look just as nice with a summer dress as they do with jean shorts. They're even easy to wash. So they can wear them to the beach, hose them off, and they're like new in no time. I'm definitely happy with the quality, style, and durability of these flip flops To learn more about Flojos and all the fabolous summer styles they offer, be sure to visit their website.
