Kid Friendly Helmets from Raskullz - Review & #Giveaway

 When I was a little girl, one of my neighbors fell off his bike and hit his head. He was in a coma for weeks and almost lost his life. He was lucky that he recovered with no complications, but not every story has that kind of happy ending. Seeing what happened to him stuck with me for years. Even if it wasn't the law now, I would still make sure my kids had a safe helmet when they're out riding their bikes, even if I'm standing right beside them. Of course, kids have no sense of their own mortality so getting them to wear a helmet can be a struggle. Little ones think they're uncomfortable and preteens think they "aren't cool'. My daughter Willow didn't want anything to do with helmets until she saw the Cutie Pink Cat. What little girl can ignore pink cats? She couldn't wait to try it on and was upset that it was raining the day it arrived because she couldn't run outside and ride her bike right away. She actually wound up wearing the helmet around the house that first day, just for fun.

When it comes time to take the helmet out, you can feel secure knowing that your kids will be safe. Don't let the cute design fool you. These helmets are designed to protect. Yet, it's still made for comfort with soft padding around the face area, cooling vents, and an adjustable strap. I feel secure and my daughter feels like a princess when she's in her Raskullz helmet.

My tween son was actually a little jealous that his little sister got a Ratskullz and he didn't. So, I promised him a trip to Target to get one for him. He's totally digging the Digital Camo Mohawk.
