Elemental Herbs, manufacturer of simple and effective organic personal care products, introduces a new, improved formula for its All Good Kids Sunscreen.
Available in new packaging, the trusted SPF 33 zinc oxide sunscreen
maintains its original safe and ultra-protective qualities, but gets a
skin-soothing update with the addition of calendula, chamomile and
sunflower oil.
Ideal
for even the most sensitive skin, calendula and chamomile both have
calming properties, while sunflower oil is a natural emollient high in
Vitamin E, which is crucial in
the prevention of skin cell damage caused by the sun.
“The
improved All Good Kids Sunscreen still offers the safest sun protection
available, with a few new ingredients beneficial to baby and children’s
skin,” said Caroline Duell,
founder and president of Elemental Herbs, and mother of a toddler.
“We’re excited to introduce an enhanced version of our original tried
and true formulation.”
All
Good Kids Sunscreen goes on clear and offers broad UVA/UVB protection
safe for kids, adults and coral reefs. The hypoallergenic and
biodegradable formula remains GMO, paraben,
gluten and PABA free.
Available mid-June 2014, the improved formulation can be purchased in a three-ounce tube. MSRP: $15.99

As a green mom, I am always on the look out for organic skincare products that are safe to use for my children, but still get the job done. Elemental Herbs products are made from certified organic ingredients like calendula and chamomile. There are no GMOS, no gluten, and they are not animal tested. Yet, unlike other organic products out there, they actually work.
For my review, I received the Suncreen with SPF 33. There were lots of things I liked about this product. In addition to it being a more natural alternative, the sunscreen is not at all greasy or sticky when it's applied. I also like the scent. It was very light and doesn't smell like chemicals. It almost feels like you're applying regular skin cream. And of course, most importantly, it worked perfectly. There was not one speck of sunburn on me or the kids even after a full eight hours in the sun without reapplying. Of course, the sun isn't that strong yet. In the heart of the summer, you would need to reapply or perhaps use a stronger SPF option.
In addition to their sunscreens, Elemental Herbs also offers some awesome sun sticks. I have been using sticks for years because it's so much easier to make sure you don't miss any spots on your face, but this is the first all-natural stick I've come across. I love the light coconut scent. It works great for face and lips, without any streaking and it's quick and easy to apply.
In addition to the items we reviewed, Elemental Herbs also have a full line of sun care products. All of their products are all-natural and organic. To learn more about all this great company has to offer, check out their website. You can also follow them on face book or twitter. For the best skincare for your family, Elemental Herbs is the obvious choice.

I would like to try herbs
Although my child is a teen, I still look for products that are safe for her. Skin is so important to take care of and this sounds like a great suncare product that is moisturizing for the skin too!
It's good that this is an all-natural product - much less chance of an allergic reaction. And sunscreen is a MUST - even kids are getting basal cell carcinoma due to overexposure to the sun. Please moms and dads, protect your kids! (And yourselves!
I had nwver heard of this before, but it sounds like it definitely worth a try. Thanks.
I noticed some of our stuff is dated. I should get some more.
Interesting about the herb ingredients. I think this is wonderful with no chemicals. I will have to look at this for grandson and thanks for the information. Another ingredient I haven't heard of. Rita Spratlen
This sunscreen sounds much better than all those on the shelf with 4 syllable words I've never heard of before. I hate all the chemicals we're practically forced to use.
I like that it is all-natural. It sounds great.
