Sun Block That Doesn't Wash Off....Ever! Protect Yourself With Sun Protection Zone #CouponCode

By Tara. *Item received for review. No financial reimbursement.*

Okay, I confess I live in Utah, a state that doesn't have sun like 6 months of the year...but I saw this item on Sun Protection Zone and fell in lurve. It's black and pink, my fave colors, it's a hoodie, my fave type of shirt, and it makes a perfect beach cover-up for my pink-and-black swimsuit for the next time I head south.

So I was stoked to receive this hoodie/parka.

What they say / My added thoughts

GreenBeanz™ are made from recycled coffee grounds that are transformed by a patented process into eco friendly fabric / This makes a great conversation starter!!! When there's this mega lull in conversation, just say, "Hey, you won't believe this, but this shirt I'm wearing is made from recycled coffee beans." Seriously.

100 SPF/UPF 50+ rated fabric protects from harmful UV rays / As I said, perfect for the beach, perfect for a swimsuit cover-up. It's very thin so you won't get hot.

Lightweight fabric for casual all season wear / The only problem with this is I don't see myself wearing it in winter even though they say all-year apparel. Not in twenty-degree weather, I don't think. There's nothing warm about it, to be honest. Though it's certainly stylish.

Water repellency shields you from the elements / I already wore it as a rain jacket. :p

This garment is quick drying and has an anti-bacterial finish which actively fights against odors / I have no criticism whatsoever against this aspect. I mean, who wants to stink? This is a fabulous feature. I wish all clothes could say the same. This means you can wear it to the gym too, get as sweaty and smelly as you can.

Best uses include golfing, hiking, lounging, outdoor work, biking, and everyday life / No disagreements here, except I wouldn't wear it skiing. :)

Machine washable on delicate cycle or hand wash using cold water with a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and hang dry out of the sun. / I hate hand washing. Hate it. Clothes will be on the floor a year before I get around to hand washing them, with much grumbling. On the bright side, if it's odor resistant, it won't stink so maybe you won't have to wash it every single time you wear it. Also, the thinness and quick-dryingness of the material means it will dry fast.

Conclusion: This is a stylish piece that will get many uses--as a tank top cover-up when you're not sure of the weather, as a rain jacket, as a swimsuit cover, as a work out top, as a biking/hiking shirt...or even a shopping jacket. ***It has a very large, subtle pocket that zippers shut. This is perfect for the lady who doesn't like to carry a purse (like me). You can place your money and license and credit card in that pocket, zip it up, and hit the mall.

As you can see it's a perfect fit and I'm pleased to be wearing it.

And it's not the only stylish sun protecting piece they offer. They have clothes for men, children, hats *It's buy one, get one free on hats right now*, sunglasses, and swimsuits. Here are some examples from the site:

So go see what all they have to offer. I'm sure many of you are planning vacays this year to warmer regions, which means possible sun burns. Be prepared. Get the sun block that does NOT wash off...ever.

And on that note, I'm pleased to inform you that Sun Protection Zone is offering a coupon code that gives you, our wonderful NAM followers, 20% off, if you order anything within a month from today. It is BLOG20OFF. To show your appreciated, be sure to follow them on twitter and Facebook.
