Valentine's Day Gift Guide - Hourglass Gift Services - Review & Giveaway

Did you ever wish you had a little more time to search for just the right gift? Are you tired of giving impersonal gift cards, but have no idea where to start looking for just the right present for a friend, family member, or even a business associate? Hourglass Gift Services is there to help! This fabulous service is a one-woman operation that helps you find the exactly what you're looking for. Deana will search through websites, compare prices, and find the most amazing gifts you can imagine at the best possible price. Then she even sends them off beautifully packaged to boot!

Deana was awesome enough to work with me on a review of her service. She provided a $30 gift voucher and I went through the whole process with her. First, she asked me who I wanted to get a gift for and what sort of things they enjoyed. I decided to get a Valentine's Day gift for my two-year-old son. His entire world revolves around two things--bears and choo choo chains. Based on those answers, Deana came up with a list of eight options I could choose from and they were all fabulous. A few of them I already had, but there were also some new items I've never seen before. These are the two things I picked.

Thomas the Train:  Preschool Thomas Bath Tracks

Tell me this isn't awesome! A train set for the bathtub! What Thomas-lovin' toddler wouldn't flip his lid for this one? I swear I've searched a ton of websites looking for bath toys like this. I found a few that were like rubber ducks in train form, but nothing like this!

Thomas The Tank Engine Kids Glow In The Dark Tee

Now you might think finding Thomas the Train clothing would be easy. And it is, if your two-year-old isn't larger than most first graders. My son is already in a size 5T and it's next to impossible to find Thomas clothes that run this big, but that is all he wants to wear. Hourglass Services found me this adorable shirt in a size 5T, and it even glows in the dark!

The two items I selected came to just over $30, which is really no more than I would expect to pay had I went shopping on my own. It was a great deal and exactly what I was looking for!

Despite the blizzard that swept the east coast, my package arrived from Hourglass Gift Services only a few days after my order was finalized. It was beautifully wrapped in Valentine's Day themed paper. Remembering I'd mentioned by son's other favorite thing was teddy bears, Deana even included a little bear on the package. Getting this surprise gift in the mail made my son's day and he was thrilled with both the shirt and the toy Deana picked for him.

I was definitely pleased with the personalized attention we received from Hourglass Gift Services throughout the whole ordering process, but not nearly as happy as my son was when he got to open his packages. I think this service is such a great idea, not only for people who don't have a lot of time, but also for those who just aren't computer savvy enough to navigate the internet. When I told my mom about Hourglass Gift Services, she said she would be looking into it for gifts for all our family members next Christmas. I would recommend this service to anyone!
