In our everyday lives, we’re exposed to toxins and stress. Toxins include anything from breathing polluted air, to carrying our cell phones around. My Thoughts

 I love the feel of the earth beneath my feet. The damp grass, the cool sand, the soil of Mother Earth--these things are our life force. We all draw energy from the earth.  But as much as I love leaving my toes free, it simply isn't always a possibility. Shoes are a necessity that is hard to avoid. Juil has found a way to appease society, but still maintain that important connection to the earth. Their shoes are made with copper dots. One end touches your foot and the other touches the ground. Because copper is all natural conduit, this process allows you to maintain contact with the earth, keeping you grounded while also providing the height of fashion.

I was able to try out the Juil Sandals first hand, and I was really impressed with the experience. There was so many lovely designs, it was hard to pick just one, but I settled on the Mojanda in black. They are really comfortable with sturdy soles. Each one is made with quality leather. They are easy to dress up or dress down, looking lovely with both jeans or a fancy dress. Their presentation is stellar as well. The shoes arrives in a sturdy cardboard box that can be easily recycled as well as a lovely storage bag with a carry strap, because Juil knows there will still be times you want to take your shoes off, even shoes as awesome as these.

 Of course the really impressive aspect to these sandals is the copper dots.  There are five copper dots at the top of the shoe, one for each toe, and an additional spot for  your heel. When you wear these shoes, you can feel the difference and it's not just about comfort. Your natural vibration rises when you are in constant connection with the earth. You'll feel the difference physically and spiritually.  I never realized such a thing was possible, but finally there are shoes that don't block your connection to nature, but solidify it.  I don't think I could ever go back to regular shoes again after this experience.
