Get DRESSed Up This Holiday Season with LightInTheBox

By Tara.

Christmas is just around the corner and if you already have your holiday dress chosen for that special dinner/get-together, well, New Years is right after that! You can't have too many dresses...
So today I want to tell you about LightInTheBox, a site that has the perfect selection of dresses, make up, home decor (if you're hosting), and more.
But, let's stick to dresses for now.

Their prices are very affordable, and if you're anything like me, you like to wear a dress more than once. I hate buying a dress for a function and never wearing it again. The dresses on LightInTheBox can be worn at a Christmas ball, a wedding, IN a wedding, or heck, save it for Valentine's or your anniversary.

Check out this one:

This dress can be found here. Beside's a perfect bride's maid gown, it could also be worn to an office party or one's anniversary.

I see this one being worn New Years Eve, or a night out dancing later in the year.

This one I love. My personal favorite and the one I received. It's slightly vintage looking, I think, with its lace overlay and details. It's well sewn. I'm most impressed by the intricate details and especially the by "belt/sash" thing. It's like it's woven, like a basket. If it fit, I'd wear it to my husband's next formal military function and I would steal the show.

Which brings me to sizing. Though every dress in my closet is a size six and that's what I ordered, it's incredibly small. You'll notice I didn't provide a photo of me actually wearing it, and that's why. It didn't go on enough to zip. LOL. Be warned: the dresses run about two sizes smaller than what you may be used to. This is because they are an international company. There is a size chart on the page, but you have to really search for it. It's not by the size box, but further down. I was unable to find it the first time I browsed the site or I would have a dress that properly fits. So this is my fault.

BUT, they have way around this. For just thirty (29.99 actually) dollars more (and that's not bad considering how much of a deal you are getting on the dress to begin with), you can order it custom-sized just for you. Measure yourself (bust, waist, hips, hollow to floor, height) and provide those measurements and voila! There's a choice when you choose your size. Merely click on custom measurements and little boxes come up for you to enter your data.

Don't wait. Order your holiday or special-occasion dresses today. You can get fast shipping too! You can also view more dresses/holiday wear/household items on their social media sites.

Remember, low prices do not always mean low quality. With these dresses, you'll get top-notch quality and looks at lower prices. And that custom-sizing option, that's hard to beat. What a terrific feature to offer!
