 My Thoughts

 The Thomas & Friends Ball Pit is a must-have for any fans of Thomas the Train. My son is two and trains are one of his favorite things, with balls coming in a close second. Having them both in the same package was a great deal. Assembly of the playland is simple. It has to be manually blown up, but its divided into multiple sections so you won't turn blue trying to get it all blown up at once. All together, it took me about ten minutes to inflate all the various compartments. Once filled with air, the ball pit is sturdy and holds the air well.

The set comes with twenty plastic balls. They will get deformed if squeezed too hard, but you can  blow air into them to inflate them back up if this happens. The actual playland has an area to sit and play and the balls can he pushed through the openings with ease. This is a great way for kids to learn coordination.  The playland also makes a great little clubhouse. My son sits inside and plays for hours. He flips through books and drags in all his stuffed animals. He absolutely loves it. When he's done playing, it can be deflated and easily stored without taking up a lot of space. So far, I've had no issues with holes, but it does come with a little repair kit just in case. This is definitely a wonderful and affordable option for anyone who loves Thomas.

 Thomas Christmas Star Picture Book

It's Christmas on the Island of Sodor, and Thomas wants to decorate his shed with a bright holiday star! Boys 3–7 will love coloring the holiday scenes featuring Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends. Includes card stock ornaments to punch out and add Thomas holiday cheer to any celebration! 

My Thoughts

The Thomas Christmas Star coloring book is like getting three gifts in one. First, its offers fun coloring pages with pictures of all their favorite characters and even a few games. But its also a storybook about Thomas' Christmas adventure through Sodor. They pick up decorations, garnish the tree, and even deliver letters to Santa. But I think the best part is that the coloring book includes two pages filled with pop-out cardboard ornaments of all the characters from Thomas the Train that you can use to decorate your own tree.  My son can't wait until we get our tree out so he can hang up his ornaments. This is a great stocking stuffer for little boys of all ages this holiday season.
