One of my very favorite toy companies is B. Toys. Their toys are unique and fun, with bright and colorful designs that appeal to children of all ages. One of the things I love is that many of their designs encourage children to develop their art and music skills from an early age. With the holidays quickly approaching, its always nice to find some fun new toys to add to your shopping list, and B Toys is great place to start looking.
This year, I have a toddler in his terrible twos and he's not easy to please, but one thing I can't go wrong with it a boat. We were lucky enough to receive the B Toys Fish & Splish to try out and this was a toy that gets high grades on both land and sea. It even won the American Baby Toy of the year and it's easy to see why. This little boat comes with a adorable bearded fisherman, a life raft, cups, and a slew of fish you can catch with your very own fishing pole. My son is crazy about this toy. He plays with it for hours at a time. He'll lay the fish out on the rug and scoop them up with the hooked pole or just push it along on the ground. But since its a waterproof toy, it can also be played with during bath time and there is even more fun. The fish float and are fun to catch on the pole. Kids can pour the water with the cups and the boat stays afloat as long as it doesn't get filled with water.
In addition to being a fun toy, as a mom there are several things I love about the Fish & Splish. First, there are no small pieces or choking hazards, making it fun for toddlers and preschoolers. It also makes for easy storage. The top of the boat lifts off, so when it's not in use, all the smaller pieces can be stored inside and you won't have to worry about losing pieces. Like all B Toys, this one is fun, convenient and well made. A few of the fish can even be used as grooming tools. One is a brush and one a comb. The brush has made it much easier for me to get under fingernails without a lot of screaming. And its not just for boys! My son and daughter both love the Fish & Splish Boat! Its a great choice for any child his holiday season.
