For our review, we received a pair of the Glowy design for my son. GORE-TEX designs their shoes with an active lifestyle in mind so these shoes can handle anything mother-nature or a toddler can throw at them. I noticed right away that my son's balance improved when he was wearing these shoes. He doesn't fall nearly as much, thanks to the firm grip and the shock absorbent soles. They come up to his ankle so they are also offering some extra support in that area. There are two Velcro straps that can be adjusted for the perfect fit. Weather-wise, these shoes can handle anything. They are water-resistant so once the winter hits, we can trek around in the snow and rain puddles won't pose a problem. Inside the shoes are lined with soft fleece, making them comfortable and warm enough for even the coldest days. I definitely love these shoes and I feel good knowing my son is wearing something so well made.
