Sons of Anarchy” Season Five
From creator Kurt Sutter comes the adrenaline-charged Sons of Anarchy,
featuring extended episodes and kicking into high gear with its biggest,
most explosive season ever! As SAMCRO's new president, Jax is
surrounded by ruthless enemies and gut-wrenching betrayal. With Gemma
fighting for control of the family and a bloodthirsty Clay out for
revenge, Jax finds himself haunted by the sins of his past. Alliances
are forged, friends are murdered, and loyalties are put to the ultimate
test. Now, with the truth in sight, Jax must do whatever it takes to
secure the legacy of brotherhood and protect his family --- even if it
costs him everything.

My Thoughts
Season 5 of Sons of Anarchy was non-stop action all the way. While the show does focus a lot of the Outlaw Club, there are also lots of other people who come along. Jax finds himself a lamb in the lion's den and has to face down a lot of new enemies. You also have Clay looking for revenge and Gemma desperately trying to hold the family together. The show features a lot of realistic human interaction with people from all walks of life. I especially enjoy Kim Coates in his role of Tig. There were so many great episodes this season, it's hard to pick a favorite. Its even harder to avoid spoilers, but one of the best shows of the season featured a dramatic death I never saw coming. Definitely a thrilling season and the Blu-ray gives you lots of bonus footage you won't see anywhere else. Its a great deal and the perfect way to enjoy every episode back to back.
