When I told my son I was getting ready to write the review for Moshi Monsters Moshlings Theme Park, his exact words were, "OMG, Mom, make sure you tell them that this is the best 3DS game EVER!". With a testimony like that, I know this game is just as cool as it looks. Activision is one of my favorite companies for video games because they always come up with original concepts that are challenging for middle grade children without all the violence of some of the other video games out there. Moshie Monsters is the perfect example.
Moshi Monsters Moshlings Theme Park is a little different from other hand held games because it is connected to one of the fastest growing social networks for kids. Moshie Monsters online is already one of my son's favorites virtual games. Now he can play the 3DS game and take it with him wherever he goes. In the game, you explore the legendary theme park while making repairs. As you go along, you can unlock hints to help build your moshling collection. The monsters will be able to ride all the cool rides including roller coasters, go karts, and slides. In addition to the main game, you can play tons of mini games along the way. It even comes with a a seven day membership to the online game, so its like getting two games for the price of one.
If you have a child who would love to get this game for the holidays, it is available in stores nationwide including WalMart, Target and Game Stop. You can also find it online at Amazon for only $19.99. For any child who loves video games, this is a great choice for a holiday stocking stuffer.
