We're Planning A Ice Age Continental Drift House Party

 Ice Age Continental Drift is coming to DVD and Blu ray on December 11th and New Age Mama is celebrating with a awesome party, courtesy of Fox Home Entertainment. On December 7th,  eight children and three moms will be stopping by for a screening of this fun new release. Ice Age has always been one of our favorite films. When my first born was just a toddler, we watched the original literally every night for a year.  At the time we had a chihuahua and she swore that Scrat looked just like him, and I have to admit, he sort of did. He was just as hyper and high strung too. I am now up to four kids and we have seen all the Ice Age movies in the theaters and we  own them all on DVD. We even have the holiday version that came out last year. We are so excited to be one of the first to preview Ice Age Continental Drift on Blu-Ray along with some of our closest friends.

As part of our party, out guest will each be receiving some nifty party packs that will include ice cube trays in the shape of  the acorn from the movie. I plan on making plenty in advance to serve along with our drinks the party. Here are some of the other items our guests will receive:

• 1 cookie cutter set (includes 3 shapes in each set and a recipe for gingerbread cookies)
• 1 hot coco set (includes mug, spoon and hot coco mix)
• 1 photo ball ornament

Ice Age: Continental Drift will be releasing on special 3D and Digital Download formats, and this feature will aim to be an informative guide for parents on the advantages of utilizing these new formats with their families. We'll discuss benefits such as the stunning visuals on the 3D version, and easy viewing access on any iPad or tablet.

Sub-zero heroes Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon a high-seas adventure after their continent is set adrift.  Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they try to reunite with their herd.  In the wake of these upheavals, Sid reunites with his cantankerous Granny, and the herd encounters a ragtag menagerie of seafaring pirates determined to stop them from returning home.
