HP “Falling into Fun” Printing Party #HPFallFun #FallPrintParty

I have hosted tons of parties, but I don't think I was ever as excited as I was about the HP "Falling into Fun" party! I got to invite ten of my friends over and this time we sent the kids away so we could enjoy the fun. For the party I was sent an HP Deskjet 3052A Wireless e-All-One Printer, which we used to get into the Halloween Spirit. But before the party even started, I had to set up the printer.

I am completely inept when it comes to electronics. Really, I have no idea how I manage to run this blog.  Yet, the HP Deskjet was super simple to set up.  Just a few simple steps and it was up and running wirelessly from both my desktop computer and my husband's laptop. I also got to try out the new HP XL Ink Cartridge and I am definitely loving them. As an author and a mom of four, my printer works overtime and the old cartridges never seemed to last long enough. I've been using these for nearly a month with no need for refills.

Once my printer was set up, the first step was to print out the invitations for the party. Normally, I sent them virtually, but since this party was all about printing, I decided to use the templates provided. I took a picture of a few of them before I printed filled them out.  Just look at that bright orange color.  They look like professional cards! I also used the printer to make my own cool decorations for the party, which I like so much, they will be staying up through Halloween. They really look so good, you would think I bought them instead of printing them at home myself.

Once it was time for the party, the real fun began. As part of the party we did a potluck recipe swap where we each shared one of our most secret recipes. Of course, we had all prepared those dishes as well as part of the party.  The picture above is the recipe cards I printed out with the HP. Look at that bright pink color! Since the recipes were all family secrets, we didn't want to post pictures of the completed cards. After the recipe exchange, all my guests got to make some Halloween decorations of their own, courtesy of HP. When the party was ready to wrap up, each of my lucky guests got to take home a $10 gift certificate from Walmart!

One of the other features of the HP that I had to share with my guests as well as my blog followers was the scanning abilities. The picture below is my great grandmother and is nearly one hundred years old. Time was taking its toll on this photo and without scanning it, I might have lost it forever. Now, I was able to share in on my face book page and tag all cousins from all over the country so we can all share in these fond memories. That was probably the best gift that HP provided.

If you would like to learn more about the HP Deskjet 3052A Wireless e-All-One Printer, the XL cartridges, or any of the awesome products in the HP family, check out their website.  To keep up with new products and promotions, be sure to follow them on face book.  HP has always been my top pick for printers and computers, and now I have even more reasons to love them.
