Its important for our children to know that its okay to be different. After all, we are all beautiful and unique. A lot of toys don't send the right message, but the Heart For Heart Girls are different. They teach girls to let their unique personalities shine through and show them that everyone is special in their own way. They teach children about different people from all walks of life. They encourage kids to pursue their heritage with passion and to learn about the heritage of others. Each doll in the Heart For Heart Girls collection represents a different culture, be in French, Indian, African or so many more. These are dolls that encourage diversity and the acceptance of it.
We were lucky enough to get to take part in a Heart For Heart Girls Party sponsored by Mommy Parties. Our package arrived just in time for my daughter's twelfth birthday. We received a wonderful package filled with goodies for the girls, including two beautiful dolls. One for my daughter and one for the winner of a random drawing. The girls had a wonderful time learning about all the different counties with the passport books that showed all the different places the dolls come from. Each girl also received a pretty Heart to Heart Dolls bracelet.
In addition to the goodies we received, we also took part in some fun games and crafts. One of our favorites was making Clean Water Banks. We used old water bottles to make beautiful decorated banks. The girls have decided that when they have them filled with spare change, they will be donating the money to World Vision, a Heart For Heart Girls partner, who helps bring clean water to children all over the world. We also enjoyed some tasty, exotic snacks including Indian Macaroni and Cheese and Bite Size Belorussian Draniki.
