Easter Gift Idea - Kiwi Crate Review
My kids loves arts and crafts, but as a green mom, I am always concerned about what the materials are doing to the environment. While there are dozens of art kits out there to choose from, none are quite like Kiwi Crate. Their art kits are fun, creative, earth friendly, and especially designed for younger children. Their materials come from mostly biodegradable products that create a unique one of a kind craft kit that both kids and adults will love. With Easter just around the corner, these eco-friendly products are a wonderful way to celebrate the arrival of Spring
My children were lucky enough to receive a Kiwi Crate to try out, and they loved it. It arrives in a box made from recycled materials, and is loaded up with several different crafts. Every months these crafts change, but the two we received were the "My Stained Glass" and the "My Spinning Colors". The kit come with everything you need including child safety sisters, papers, markers, instructions and more. Since I have a wide range of ages in my household, these were great choices for my family. My toddler loved decorating the spinning tops and then watching the colors dance around. It comes with about a dozen fitted papers, and since you can use both sides, you can decorate your top again and again.
The second craft in our box was the "My Stained Glass". This one is simple too, and lots of fun. It comes with a variety of colored film and tissue that you attach to contact paper. Then you add a frame and you have the perfect window ornament. Look at the colors through the 3D glasses, and watch them bend and swirl. My son had a great time making this one, and plans on giving it to his grand mom for Mother's Day.
But wait! The sets also come with a free bonus craft! Ours was a tissue paper dyed bag. You just run the bag under water, arrange the colored tissue paper in the pattern of your choice, add a few more drops of water, and let it dry. You will have a custom bag created just the way you like it. This one was a huge hit with my oldest daughter. Plus its completely safe because there is no worry about unsafe paints or getting the colors on your clothes.
These are only a few examples of the fun projects you can find at Kiwi Crate. They have new projects every month, and the best part is, you can sign up once, and they will deliver a new crate right to your door every single month for only $19.95. If you have grandchildren or nieces and nephews too far away to hand deliver an Easter basket, then the Kiwi Crate is the perfect solution.
