Holiday Gift Guide - Moshi Monsters Moshing Zoo for Nintendo DS Review

When I told my son I was getting ready to write the review for Moshi Monsters Moshing Zoo, his exact words were, "OMG, Mom, make sure you tell them that this is the best DS game EVER!".  With a testimony like that, I know this game is just as cool as it looks.  Activision is one of my favorite companies for video games because they always come up with original concepts that are challenging for middle grade children without all the violence of some of the other video games out there. Moshie Monsters is the perfect example.

Moshie Monsters Moshing Zoo is a little different from other hand held games because it is connected to one of the fastest growing social networks for kids. Moshie Monsters online is already one of my son's favorites virtual games. Now he can play the DS game and win codes to help him unlock some  even cooler rewards in the online version. You will begin by exploring different worlds, including the Woolly Wilderness and Monstro City, where you can find rare wild moslings to add to your collection. Some of moshlings my son found were the Statue of Liberty and Mini Ben (mini version of Big Ben). They start out as babies, but as you feed and care for them, they grow into full size Moshi Monsters. There are also tons of cool mini games to help boost your moshlings mood, health and happiness.

If you have a child who would love to get this game for the holidays, it is available in stores nationwide including WalMart, Target and Game Stop for $29.99. You can also find it online at Amazon for only $14.99. For any child who loves video games, this is a great choice for a holiday stocking stuffer.

***Please note that I received no form of monetary compensation for this post. I did receive a sample of the product to try in order to write a fair and honest review. The opinions expressed in this review are my own and were not influenced in any way. ***
