Fantasy Clay Review & Giveaway

I am a writer of fantasy, so of course I love fairies, dragons, unicorns and all things whimsical. I collect all types of fantasy items from prints, to statues, to jewelry. Its a way of bringing a little magic into my everyday life. Recently I came across an adorable little shop on Artfire called Fantasy Clay that creates amazing works of handmade art using polymer clay. Each piece is a unique, one of a kind creation. They are fun to collect and beautiful to look at.

For my review, I received the adorable polymer clay Flying Dragon Necklace. This combines two of my favorite things, artwork and jewelry. When I saw the picture, I was a little worried that the necklace would be heavy and uncomfortable, but it is surprisingly lightweight. You won't even realize your wearing it. The dragon is exquisitely detailed from his life like gaze to the leaves on his wings. Interwoven into the wings are multi colored beads and he is clutching a quartz crystal in his hands. In addition to using it as a necklace, its also perfect for hanging from your mirror in your car to bring a little magic and protection everywhere you go.

Dragons are only one example of the mystical creatures lurking around every corner at Fantasy Clay. You can also find aliens, owls, angels, woodland fairies and more. They also offer some cute holiday figures, like elves and Santa. If you aren't into fantasy knick knacks, but you are planning a wedding, they also design custom cake toppers. All of their pieces are one of a kind and are available at every day low prices. If you are a collector of fantasy art, this is a shop you will definitely want to visit.

One very lucky winner is going to receive a gift certificate for $25 to the Fantasy Clay Artfire shop. To enter this giveaway, you will have to head over to my author blog. This giveaway will end on 6/6/11 at 12pm. Giveaway is open to the US & Canada only. Winner will be selected randomly from all comments received using a random number generator. Thanks again to Fantasy Clay for offering this terrific prize.

***Please note that I received no form of monetary compensation for this post. I did receive a sample of the product to try in order to write a fair and honest review. The opinions expressed in this review are my own and were not influenced in any way. ***
