It was just the right size for her age and the clip stayed in place in her fine baby hair. The back of the clip is lined with velvet to ensure your baby's comfort and to help keep it from slipping or pulling on their hair. Its big enough to make a statement but not so big that its uncomfortable. Willow barely even noticed she had it on. It looks great with casual wear or with fancy dresses.
