Dennis the Menace Season One DVD Review
When I was a little girl, I lived with my grandparents and they were always watching reruns of the old TV shows. One of my favorites was always Dennis the Menace. This classic show about the fun loving and mischievous Dennis has kept kids and parents glued to their seats for generations. Who can forget all the scraps that Dennis gets into and who doesn't love good old Mr. Wilson? I was surprised that this classic show doesn't seem to make any appearance on TV these days, but now that it was been released on DVD, we can all enjoy watching Dennis find trouble whenever we want.
Dennis the Menace Season One originally aired back in 1959-1960. All 32 original episodes are included on this DVD making for hours of family fun. Dennis originally started out as a comic strip but quickly adapted to television thanks to the amazing acting abilities of the star of the show, Jay North. In each episode, Dennis leaves a chain of chaos throughout his neighborhood along with his friends Tommy and Margaret, but still manages to win the hearts of millions.
In addition to the 32 episodes, the DVD set also includes bonus features including original promos and all new conversations with Gloria Henry and Jeannie Russell. There is also a bonus episode from the "Donna Reed Show" called "Donna Decorates" which features Jay North as Dennis the Menace and Joseph Kearns as Mr. Wilson.
If you want to get this classic show on DVD for your family, you can find it on the Shout Factory website for the low price of only $24.98.
