I'm always on the look out for great water bottles. I won't use plastic bottles and add to the environmental waste, but I hate bottles with plastic pieces that get moldy. Well, my husband put water in it from our refrigerator at 5am and was able to keep it cold the entire work day without any ice or cold packs. It keeps things nice and cold even with the sun beating down on it in the car during the day. It also works just as well keeping coffee warm on these chilly fall mornings.

I just love these bottles and it was a fight between my teen daughter and I to see who got them. She finally settled for the bee pattern and I got the flowers.  This would be a great purchase for anyone this upcoming holiday season.  They are just the right size for a stocking stuffer!  They would be able to take them on the go or to work! Our Thoughts:
I break all things glass. Over the years I've broken no less than 30 drinking glasses and countless jars.  At home, all our drinking glasses have been replaced with plastic because, well, I've broken all the others. We even have a running joke up at our cabin - a family member brought me a set of plastic children's glasses to use there so I wouldn't break the glass glasses. (And I use them!)

I am aware of the benefits of glass over plastic for drinking, but when my immediate safety and the safety of others is concerned, I choose plastic. LOL.   Until now.

I gotta say, these Glasstic water bottles are pretty cool. Really.  What's really interesting is the way they are constructed - the whole water bottle comes apart - you have a locking lid, a bottom, the outer plastic shell, and a glass insert, all of which is easily washable.  This way, if you drop it, the plastic (BPA-free!) absorbs the impact and the glass remains intact.  However, if it does somehow break . . . the glass is completely contained inside the plastic shell, so no worries about cleaning up or stepping on broken glass.

Glasstic offers both a printed plastic shell and a clear one with a variety of decorative inserts.  They have a ton of different insert designs to choose from! You can choose from 5 packs for $5, or purchase individual designs for $2. I think this 5 pack's my favorite:

The inserts are very easy to use - you just take apart the bottle, roll up an insert and well, simply insert it into the plastic shell where it unfurls. 

You are able to make some minor adjustments to get the insert perfectly aligned if you wish, then reassemble your water bottle, fill, and go! They advertise the bottles fit most vehicle drink holders, and that's true.  I have two sizes of drink holders in the center console of my Jeep, and it fits perfectly in the smaller one.

The water bottle has a handle on the top lid, but they do offer shoulder straps to make them even more portable, something I might just take advantage of since I like to have both my hands free when out and about, especially when trying to push my son's stroller and walk the dog at the same time.

Glasstic offers free replacement if the glass does somehow break, and I really appreciate they also offer all replacement parts for sale should you need them.  We have many reusable eating/drinking products we like, but if something breaks, we're left having to purchase a whole new assembly because most companies do not offer replacement parts.

I do want to note, if you're making the switch from plastic to glass, these glass water bottles are heavier than you'd think when full - just takes a little getting used to. :)

Our Thoughts:

This is the best thing since sliced bread! I had no idea when I said yes to this review that I would be totally and completely enamored with it. I literally use it for everything, hot and cold! It truly does keep things hot and cold for the time allotted by the company. This is my favorite item to carry with me places, and by places I mean everywhere! 

These come in six awesome colors, and kids will love this eco-friendly and stylish way to carry their drink. They're leak proof which is helpful, as kids tend to spill lots of things, at the most inopportune times! My ten year old has tried taking off with mine since I got it. As for my two year old? She just grabs it and runs off laughing. Definitely a high commodity in my house. 

The bottle design is easy to hang on too, and the top can be easily attached to your bike, or can be adapted to whatever sport you're in to. I just seriously cannot brag about this water bottle enough!

I will be buying three more for my kids and husband. This will be a hot this winter, for your hot chocolate and coffee drinkers! Cold snowy days haven't ever been so warm!

 In the New Age Mama household, we take the environment seriously. We have been trying our best to cut back on our household waste. One great way to do this, is to use reusable water bottles instead of buying bottled water. It's also a great way to save money!  It makes it a lot easier, and a lot more fun to do this is you have a cool water bottle. Pulling the S'well bottle out of the cylinder packaging was so much fun. I didn't know what to expect exactly but I was pleasantly surprised. The bottle is solid, very solid! It's heavy and looks like it can withstand a drop from your hand pretty well. It does, however, look like a mortar shell but even with that, it fits well in any cup holder. I tried it not only in my Envoy and my husband's Pontiac G6, but I tried it in my stroller's cup holder too and it fit just like any other cup or bottle I use.

This bottle is supposed to keep whatever you put in it cold for 24 hours and hot for about 12. Well, my husband put water in it from our refrigerator at 5am and was able to keep it cold the entire work day without any ice or cold packs. It especially keeps things nice and cold even with the sun beating down on it in the car during the day. The only thing that I will caution is to make sure that the bottle is closed tightly before laying on it's side or trying to mix anything in the bottle (like a powder additive to water).

I quite like this bottle and it is a fight between my husband and I to see who gets it first and uses it that day! My Thoughts

 Our Thoughts
 I'm one of those people who have to have a large bottle or container if I'm going to be taking water with me some place. I tend to drink a lot of water, tea or juice. At night, I regularly have two 16 oz bottles of water by the bed and I usually will drink both of them especially right now because I'm nursing my four-month-old daughter.

When Klean Kanteen asked us to review their product I got excited because I was able to ask for their 40 oz container (shown on the left - retails at $27.95). I was excited because not only is it a stainless steel container with a silicone spout but it was big enough that I wasn't going to have to fill two bottles just for over night! Using the Klean Kanteen for over night has proven to be just what I needed. I don't have to fill it multiple times, I don't have to take more than just the bottle to bed. This bottle holds 40 oz of water and from what I've experienced, it keeps the water cooler than if it just sat out in a plastic bottle. Now, that may be just because here in Wisconsin it's starting to cool off to tundra temperatures at night but I'm still impressed that my water has not been warm one morning so far!

I love the silicone spout. It's easy to clean, easy to use and it has an air flow spot in it so there is an air exchange when you're drinking out of the bottle! I love that! This bottle, along with the spout, is dishwasher safe too!

Our Thoughts

I absolutely L.O.V.E this water bottle! Absolutely love it! It's 500 ml which converts to almost 17 ounces and is so easy to carry with me. I love that it comes apart in three pieces. I love that it's SO easy to put in the dish washer. I love that it's so easy to fill! 

This bottle has accessories too! You can get a carabiner clip to hook to a backpack, bag, or your belt loop. It's fabulous to hook to the diaper bag when I am running errands. There is also a Dopper-Belt. It's a lanyard that you can attach to the bottle to hook around your neck or around stroller handles. The only thing that I don't like about this bottle is that my kids LOVE this bottle too and they constantly steal my bottle! 

The fact that these bottles are BPA-free, dishwasher-safe and are helping with clean water access in other countries is reason enough to purchase one of these. But the biggest thing that I see is that this bottle has forced me to drink more water and has made me want to have more of these bottles! Fantastic stocking stuffers for any age and I know my kids and husband will be getting one of their own in their stockings this Christmas!
