My Thoughts: 

This year I've been all about eating healthier. I decided to take a nutrition class and educate myself on the best foods for my body. One of the most talked about topics lately is, Superfoods. You hear about it all the time! Even at the hotel my family and I stayed at on vacation this summer, they had a section on the menu dedicated to Superfood recipes. When I discovered Elemental Superfood Crumbles it was very exciting! I could not wait to try them.

I tried three of the four flavors and they were extremely unique. Each one was wonderful, chewy, and filled with nutrients. I enjoyed putting my Crumbles on yogurt, in smoothies, and just as a snack. It was great that in the bag, there were all sizes, so some were perfect for topping off a dish or enjoying as if it was a bar.

My favorite was by far the Dark Chocolate + Peanut Butter. I'm a huge fan of dark chocolate and peanut butter in general, so together these made a fantastic treat together. It reminded me of a healthy cookie. Who doesn't love that?

The Cranberry, Almond, + Lucuma made me nostalgic for the holiday season. I adore eating cranberry goodies during the holiday season, and the mixture of the almond addition made it even better. Wonderful!

Lastly, the Mulberry, Cacoa, + Spirulina was a fantastic earthy flavor. Cacoa is one of my favorite additions to my smoothies. It has amazing benefits for health and it tastes great when mixed with other flavors.

My Thoughts:

Even as a little girl, one of my favorite vegetables was cauliflower. It was a wonderful, filling treat that was packed with nutrients. Knowing that From The Ground Up had cauliflower snacks, I could not wait to try them! The packing was adorable, and included Marigolds to plant. 

I tried the Original Pretzel Sticks, as well as the Cheddar Cheese Crackers. Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect taste wise, but I was pleasantly surprised. The pretzels had a traditional texture with a crunch and yummy taste. It was a nice mixture of both cauliflower flavor and pretzel. The crackers were my favorite by far though! I mean, who doesn't love cheese? They had flakey crisp, and a cheesy flavor with a hint of salt. It was fantastic! Plus, both snacks are gluten free, non-gmo and made with vegan ingredients. Safe for all!

Don Tacos Grilled Corn Flavor-
Oh do I love tacos! These chips were so savory. There was a dash of salt and a hint of sweetness from the butter and soy sauce mix on the crispy corn chips. One of my favorite toppings is soy sauce so this was perfection. Yum!

Caramel Corn Share Pack-
Sweet, soft, with just a hint of crunch. These Caramel Corn snacks reminded me of the type of texture you'd expect from corn cakes almost. The pack of four makes these wonderful to share with friends. With the flavor not being too overpowering, these were wonderful to curve a sweet craving.

Calbee Plum Seaweed Chips-
I'll admit I was nervous about this one. I’ve never had any type of seaweed before. I was pleasantly surprised, however! The chips had a traditional crispy texture along with a nice thickness to the consistency. There was a good bite of flavor to it that you would expect from an underwater delight. A nice mix of salt too makes these a good match for a seafood aficionado.

Umaiwa Cheese-
Umaiwa Cheese are adorable circular snacks for my cheese lovers out there! They have the perfect corn puff texture and the flavor of the cheese is a little sharp and yet a little sweet. Just like cheese fondue. It reminded me a lot of the onion ring snacks that we have here in America. I would highly recommend them!

Choco Banana DIY Kit-
A good DYI kit never disappoints and these were so much fun to make! Such an enjoyable kit for children and family alike. Included is the chewy banana treat, chocolate cream, as well as a colorful topping to put into the plastic container. To avoid mess there is even a toothpick included to insert your treat into. The Choco Banana texture is soft and chewy. The chocolate has a rich and decadent flavor while the topping as a hint more sweetness to the mix.

Umaibo Teriyaki Burger-
The Unaibo Teriyaky Burger is shaped so uniquely! I really loved the large size along with the light and airy texture. The flavor is extremely savory! There’s no doubt that you are enjoying a teriyaki treat as if you were really in Japan!

Gudetama Candy-
These cute candies melt in your mouth for you to enjoy! Inside is a hidden orange sauce that adds perfectly to the yogurt flavored sweet candy. The sweetness wasn’t too overpowering and was well balanced with the orange sauce. Plus who wouldn’t love the adorable Gudetama faces on the wrappers?

Pakkuncho Disney Custard Pudding Biscuits-
I'm a huge Disney fan and the Pakkuncho Custard Biscuits wear one of my favorites in this month's box! The fun Disney packaging mixed with the airy crunch of the basket was delicious! The custard pudding was like an added bonus. It was rich and flavorful just like a bakery dessert.

Colorful Seeds Soft Candy-
Welcome to flavor paradise with the Colorful Seeds Soft Candy! They reminded me a lot of jellybeans. The flavors include grape, orange, and ramune. With a pang of taste it makes it even more fun to mix and match flavors. A little sweet with a little tart is the ideal experience! The bag has a nice Ziploc on it as well.

Healthy Snacking Squishy Lemon Gummies-
If you love lemon these are perfect for you! The Lemon Gummies have a thick texture and a powerful zing. They are a bit hard to chew so I would recommend letting them melt in your mouth.

Kyoro-chan's Custard Pudding Snack-

There are three unique textures to these snacks. One is the soft outside layer of white chocolate. Upon biting deeper into the egg shaped treat, you get a dash of crunch almost like a biscuit or cookie. Lastly comes the sweetest of the pudding inside as well. Another favorite of mine from TokyoTreat! 

Easter Banana Kit Kats-

I'm a huge fan of traditional Kit Kat Bars. My entire household loves them. I was excited to get the opportunity to try a new flavor! They reminded me a lot of banana pudding with wafer cookies, one my favorite desserts! The taste of the banana seemed very realistic, unlike many banana flavored treats on the market. Within the Kit Kat is everyone's favorite light crispy wafer and that was the perfect addition. 

Baby Bear Gummies-

I'm a sucker for anything cute (or Kawaii since we're discussing Tokyo, Japan) and these Baby Bear Gummies were just that. The design was absolutely adorable. The flavors of the treat is what you'd expect from a gummy bear. Since these are my little brother's favorite, I gladly shared with him!

Afternoon Tea White Chocolate Milk Tea-

My Thoughts:

Chuao Chocolatier has made an amazing assortment of sweet treats. These products will make anyone who loves chocolate go to the paradise of California by snacking on a piece of their California Collective line! I was very grateful to try each of the bars listed above! Having visited California a few years ago, this was a walk down memory lane. I also was thrilled to be snacking on something that is free of unnatural additives while still supporting fair trade ingredients. Their thought that everything you need to make a treat is in your own "pantry" was appealing to me. I will attach a picture and my thoughts on the flavors! I have to say, I was impressed and am excited to share them with you! 

Sun Kissed Coconut: I am usually not that fond of coconut in my chocolate. I love the smell, but find that the coconut is cute so coarsely that it is hard to chew and not enjoyable. However, I was over the moon with Chuao's Sun Kissed Coconut! The roasted almonds and finely cut toasted coconut were the perfect compliments to the creamy milk chocolate. I felt like I was basking on an island resort while eating this delicious chocolate bar. This one was by far my mom's favorite too. I caught her relaxing in bed watching television while enjoying it! Whenever I crave coconut, this is going to be the chocolate bar for me.

Pool Party Pretzel: Who doesn't love a good chocolate covered pretzel? It's been the go to snack for generations. This chocolate bar from Chuao Chocolatier knew just how to make that classic treat even better! With the perfect amount of crispy pretzels mixed with savory toffee and thick milk chocolate, you'll never feel like the summer time pool days have ended. If you want the ideal blend of sweet and salty, along with that light crunch, this is your go to! 

Salted Caramel Dreamin': I adored this wonderfully sweet and salty chocolate bar. The caramel toffee reminded me of the nights out in California with my mom when here and I were out there together. If you look closely in the pictures, you see the yummy toffee mixed in with the delicious milk chocolate. The added sea salt balances the sweetness, making the flavors completely enjoyable and able to be tasted together. 

Sea Salt Surf: Dark chocolate is by far my favorite. It isn't overly sweet and always creamy (and healthy for you too!). I adored this thick and tasty product from Chuao Chocolatier. The sea salt allows the dark chocolate to take on an even more powerful taste. As a dark chocolate lover, I would sit back and enjoy this any day of the week!

Bright and Sunny Honey: Chocolate and almonds are the ideal combination. This bar is the choice for those that love sweetness. The dark chocolate adds the pow factor to the sweet honey toffee and finely cut roasted almonds. There is a nice mild crunch to this bar with a sweet after taste. I loved it!

Healthy Back-to-School Snack.

The school year is upon us, and once again, parents everywhere will be packing their children healthy and filling lunch bags to get them through the school day. Keep Healthy is the perfect, healthy snack to keep your kids fueled and focused all day long.

The base of these bars are made from dates- a superfood that is high in fiber, packed with antioxidants, and that has anti-inflammatory benefits. Other than dates there are a few additional ingredients, but don't worry, they are all ingredients that you're body will recognize and will be able to pronounce. My Thoughts:

Dates are one of my favorite super foods! They're so filling, and give you that extra boost of energy and sweetness without any harm to your body. Hearing about Keep Healthy's line of bars made me excited to add them to my daily routine. With so many varieties, anyone can find a fit for them! Keep Healthy sent me a variety of flavors and also types of their delicious and nutritious bars.

I first tried their New York Date Bars. They have a awesome sweet taste with a variety of healthy options. My favorite had to be the Apple Walnut. It was sweet, savory, chewy with just the right amount of crunch from the walnuts. Keep Healthy also has a unique variety called, Fruitskies. It's like a healthy dessert for your cravings. On the back there is a quote that says "Have a fruitkie, not a cookie". I personally loved the Mango Almond one, but there were so many great choices! Some even have chocolate covering.

There are also a variety of Keep Healthy protein and low glycemic bars. Many of the original date bars that include raisins can be a bit high in sugar (although it is natural sugars). I actually loved the low glycemic bars just as much. The Sea Salt Brownie flavor tasted just like a traditional brownie with some added coconut. The sweeteners were organic coconut nectar and almond butter. The protein bars were alright, but not really my thing. I would have liked the consistency to be a little less chalky and the taste more flavorful. However, they give you a great boost of energy. I could see them being perfect for athletes on the go.

My Thoughts

What unique and very good tasting chocolates. I was amazed by the flavoring of these. They were really good, I don't think I can write that enough. My family and I had a lot of fun trying all the flavors and picking which ones we'd want to eat again and which we would pass on.

These are the chocolates we tried.

The Caramel Apple Crush was my favorite. I'm not usually a fan of caramel, but I didn't taste that in this one. I tasted the green apple. I also devoured the Salted Chocolate Crunch. That one was so tasty.

If I had to choose the one I didn't like, it was the Firecracker. Well, let me rephrase that. It was very interesting. It had popping candy inside it, so when you ate it, you got little pops in your mouth which was really cool and made us laugh. It was spicy, but at first bit, it tasted good with the chocolate. The issue with this one was that it left an not so good after taste.

As you can see from the flavors, your taste buds are in for a treat and experience. In case you're curious where to find these, you can head down to your local CVS and find these at their store.

I will be keeping an eye on these and trying more flavors. These would also make great gifts for the chocolate lover in your life.
