Degusta Box – February Football Favorites

I look forward to the variety inside each Degusta Box! For the month of February, they have chosen a game day feast theme. The products vary from snacks to dip mixes and more.

The Degusta Box is one of the best monthly boxes I have ever tried. The surprising contents makes it a worthwhile tasty adventure.  

Explore these tastes: 

PBFit – Is the product of the month. This peanut butter powder is versatile. You can mix it as a peanut butter dip to use with apples or pretzels, or it can be added to a smoothie. I think it would also be good sprinkled in oatmeal or added to pancakes. 

Emmy’s Organics – Coconut Cookies. Almond and vanilla flavors mingle in a vegan and gluten free cookie. These small morsels are very good paired with a hot tea or coffee! 

Sourdough Craft Beer Pretzel Rings – a new take on pretzels. These are good size rings made with the same ingredients that go into beer making. Barley and hops come together with the delicious sourdough to make a crispy and very flavorful pretzel. The ring shape is unique! 

PopCorners – These are one of my favorite snacks. I have never had this new flavor, Spicy Queso! It is spicy for those that like a bit of heat!  

Raindrops Candy Taco – This is a fun product. It looks like a real taco but it is made of sweets! Inside you will find a variety of sweet gummy candies to make the “taco” ingredients. 23 pieces of candy fill this taco shell. 

A few products that require cooking: 

Manitou Trading Company – Piri Piri Sauce mix and Truffle, Parmesan & Black Garlic Seasoning. The Piri Piri sauce mix can be added to soups or made into a dip. It has a bit of spicy pepper flavors. The Truffle, Parmesan & Black Garlic Seasoning smells amazing. I can see adding this to a pasta dish or sprinkled on popcorn. It has a rich truffle, very satisfying flavor.

Just Add – Classic Guacamole quick mix. What is a football watching party without guacamole? Just add to two fresh avocados for a yummy guacamole. This will be the first to go in my family! We love guacamole! It is convenient to have these packets ready to make. 

BeanSmash – Snack or Dip. Just like it sounds. This is a ready to make cup filled with beans and spices. Simply add hot water or follow the microwave directions. The chipotle black bean flavor has a little kick while the cheesy pinto bean cup is super good! 

The value of this month’s Degusta Box is excellent. I really enjoyed the football party theme too!

I get excited to start my foodie treasure hunt! I have found new tastes I will continue to purchase.

Degusta Box – January box features A New Year, A New Me!

How many of us set a resolution to eat healthier? Getting healthy whether dieting, exercising or eating better, is the number one resolution. For the first monthly box of 2019, Degusta Box shares with us some healthier snack and food options as well as new flavors to enjoy. 

I enjoy my monthly Degusta Box! The flavors and products are always an interesting selection. It is a foodie treasure hunt. 

The goodies inside the January Box include: 

Vitabella – 100% Italian Cereal. This is a vegan whole grain, low fat cereal made in Italy. The pillow shapes contain a strawberry filling. Organic and Gluten Free. I like them as a quick munchie! 

Partners Crackers – Olive Oil & Sea Salt. This thin crispy cracker is very flavorful. Zero trans fat with only 60 calories for 5 crackers. 

Lundberg Family Farms – Organic Grounded Snacks. Baked grains in a vanilla chai cinnamon flavor. I like the taste and the crunch is very satisfying. 

LaTortilla Factory – Low Carb Flour Tortillas. They have added more fiber and protein in a flour tortilla! Each tortilla is only 6g net carbs. You would never know it was a better tortilla. Tastes just like regular ones. They have also included a yummy recipe for Turkey Burgers with Pickled Onions and Guacamole on the insert sheet. I am making this one. 

MaraNatha - Almond Butter. Three snack pack size flavors to try. Caramel, Coconut and Dark Chocolate Almond Butter. Perfect for an afternoon protein pick me up. The coconut flavor is my favorite. 

Smashmallow – Smash Crispy. The flavorful Smashmallow marshmallow company has created a rice treat. These are delicious. Strawberries & Cream and Cinnamon Churro. YUM! 

Perhaps not on the healthy side of the scale: 

Idahoan Mashed Potatoes – New flavors available include Cheddar & Sour Cream and Smokey Cheese & Bacon. I love having this mix packets on hand for quick side dishes. My hubby loved the Smokey Cheese & Bacon flavor! 

Chocolat Frey – Blond Crunchy Almond Bar. Caramalized white chocolate with almonds. I enjoy white chocolate. This swiss premium bar is made with more than 25% nuts! It is a great blend of chocolate and nuts. Super Delicious. 

Sweet Baby Ray’s – Hot Sauce. If you like it spicy, you will enjoy this hot sauce. It has a really good kick from the cayenne and garlic. Great for those football wings! 

Michel et Augustin – Cookie Squares. Chocolate Hazelnut cookie square. A rich buttery cookie with a decadent chocolate ganache with chopped hazelnuts. Seriously indulgent! A tease from Degusta Box as they only offered one tiny cookie square. Sad face. I could have had another one or two. 

There are many products I will be buying again! Try a Degusta Box for yourself or send to a foodie friend! The value is always good for the quality of products that arrive each month. I have never been disappointed in the variety of tastes.

Degusta Box – December box features Holiday Treats and surprising tastes!

I look forward to receiving my monthly Degusta Box! The flavorful treats inside always make me happy!  There is not much of a theme for the December box, but it does feature Holiday flavors and goodies! My favorite phrase is the small Degusta Box sticker that says “open me, eat me…enjoy me. You bet I will!  

The Degusta Box monthly subscription box is an ideal gift! Foodies will enjoy each monthly treat box. Inside are treats, candies, cookies, spices and more! The flavors and contents vary each month making it a treasure hunt. The December box has spice flavors you find during the holidays. Chocolate in mint flavor, cookies with cinnamon, caramel corn, ginger and marshmallows you can add to your own cocoa!

The value is good for the quality of products that arrive each month. I have never been disappointed in the contents. There is a variety of tastes for everyone. 

The goodies inside the December Box include: 

G.H.Cretors Popped Corn – The Mix is a caramel corn and cheddar cheese corn blend. Sweet and salty in the same mouthful. My family is familiar with this delicious popcorn treat as we buy it by the large bag! A favorite! 

SunSpire SunDrops Chocolates – the dark chocolate candies are colorful in pinks, yellows and browns. They have a distinct sweet flavor. I like the dark chocolate inside! 

Chimes Ginger Chews – Original Chewy Ginger Candy. I have heard these can help with travel issues if you get car sick. I like the aroma of the ginger however ginger flavor is not for me. They are quite strong in flavor. 

GOL Bar – Garden of Life Protein bar are made from real organic ingredients. Cashews, pecans, dates and sea salt blend tastefully with milk proteins for a scrumptious on the go pick me up. The maple sea salt flavor is delicious! 

HU Chocolate – Crunchy Mint Dark Chocolate bar is made from organic cacao. There is no dairy, no palm oil, no refined sugar, no cane sugar or sugar alcohols inside. What is inside is good dark chocolate flavor with a lovely minty taste. It is a 70% dark cacao which is an acquired taste for some. I like the bold snappy flavor! 

Bahlsen Iced Cinnamon Stars Cookies – These truly taste like Christmas. A chewy star shaped cookie with an intense cinnamon flavor coated with white icing! Like eating a piece of a fancy gingerbread house! Yum! 

For cooking: 

Chef Paul Prudhomme Magic Seasoning Blends – Poultry Magic. This is just what I need for cooking the holiday bird! The sprinkle on spice blend features garlic, onion and herbs while being low sodium. It smells amazing and really adds a great flavor to chicken. They even included a recipe to make inside this box! 

Dave’s Gourmet Creamy Ginger Citrus Hot Sauce – Warm and spicy. It is way too hot for me. This is a great blend of jalapenos, ginger and spices for those bold folks liking a touch of heat. It can be used as a cooking sauce or as a dip ingredient. 

Vahdam Assorted Teas – Fresh teas in a sampler assortment. The inviting flavors include a must try of Turmeric Spiced herbal tea. I had to taste it! Opening the packet, it smells very aromatic. Turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, black pepper, lemongrass and bergamot extracts. You can see how this smells so amazing! Steeping the pyramid sachet released the intense aroma even more! The taste is delicate and not overpowering. This is a must purchase for me! 

Campfire Mini Marshmallows – regular and fruit flavored. Add a handful to your own hot cocoa or use them in baking. Cereal treats are fun to make at the holidays. The fresh taste of these marshmallows will make treats tasty! 

There were several favorites in this box! I will definitely be buying a few products again!
