My children were thrilled with the new Kohl's Cares selections. As always, they have a few new books that come with matching plush toys. We received a cute little plush reindeer with a copy of the Classic, Twas the Night Before Christmas. The beautiful hard back picture book is filled with vivid illustrations, and the plush helps to bring that story to life.  This is the perfect story to read just before bedtime throughout the holiday season.

The holiday collection has some exciting new items in addition to the toys and books. One those is adult coloring books.Coloring is a favorite pastime of kids everywhere. We all spent hours during our childhoods filling page after page, sometimes with iffy results. Still, we had fun and it fulfilled our creative sides. Somewhere along the way, most of us grow up and feel that coloring books are a thing that we have to set aside as we take on adult responsibilities. I am steadily racking up my stock of adult coloring books. I absolutely love them. They take you straight back to your childhood, at least for me. As a kid I would color for hours with music playing in the background and it is still something I do today. In one, Clifford and his friends get to visit the beach, and in the other, kids will learn their ABCs and words associated with each letter.  They are the perfect stories to read just before bedtime.

Back to School with @Kohls #Yes2You

This year my daughter Willow will be starting kindergarten and my son is going to Pre-K. I can't believe they are already big enough to go to school! I started this blog when I was pregnant with my daughter, and many of you have watched my children grow up with me. Now, I'm getting ready to send them out into the great big world. It's a little scary for both of us, but Kohl's is helping make this transition easier.  Kohl's has millions of great deals in the store and an even bigger selection of products online! There are literally thousands of items to choose from,and everything you can possibly want for school kids of all ages.  

 Like all new school kids, my daughter is a little nervous about leaving me for the very first time. One of the ways I'm helping ease her into it, is by letting her pick out all her own clothes and accessories for school.  At Kohl's she was able to find tons of backpacks and school supplies as well as clothing and accessories .
