Celebrate National Tooth Fairy Day with PLAYMOBIL

While the Tooth Fairy may be a myth in many households, the magic is very much alive for the little ones. February 28th is National Tooth Fairy Day and the PLAYMOBIL Tooth Fairy (5381) play set is excellent for children who are crossing the big kid threshold. 

At some time or another, all of us have been visited by the Tooth Fairy and although it may be a bitter sweet moment for adults, it’s a magical moment for kids. My Thoughts

These Tooth Dairy sets are really awesome, and perfect for my daughter who has several loose teeth right now.   Each one comes with one tooth fairy character and all the accessories she needs including a wand and wings.  It also comes with a really cute little box shaped like a tooth. Kids can use this to store their real teeth when they wait for the tooth fairy to come visit!

Assembly was very simple. There aren't a whole lot of pieces, and my daughter was able to assemble it independently.  In addition to assembling the blocks, you also have to add the stickers.  It  took maybe  two minutes, and allowed for hours of interactive play. Once assembled, the pieces stay together well. My daughter is very happy with her fairy and is even more exited about loosing her next tooth.  These are a great idea, and should definitely be added to your  Valentine's Day wish list. Of course, it'a also a great way to celebrate National Tooth Fairy Day on February 28th!

My Thoughts

My kids just loved this play set. It comes with everything you need to shuttle off into space.  There is one large shuttle and launch site complete with all sorts of gadgets. You can keep your astronauts in the shuttle or allow them to explore the launch pad and man the control tower. It's so much fun and really encourages imaginative play.  My son especially enjoyed the fact that it lights up and makes sounds. This requires three AAA batteries (not included). The lift also moves up and down, and the satellite can be stored inside the rocket. 

The play set comes with two action figures (a boy and a girl) that come with full uniforms as well as a  really cool robot. There are also lots of little tools and a laptop for the workers to use. Assembly was pretty simple. There are a  lot of pieces,  and some of them can be tricky for small kids, but we got the whole thing assembled in about an hour. My 12 year-old son helped his younger siblings put it together. The main part of the rocket is already assembled, so you just have to add on the smaller pieces.  In addition to assembling the blocks, you also have to add the stickers.  Once assembled, the pieces stay together well. My kids were very happy with this set, and have been playing with it all day. My Thoughts 

These sets are really awesome, and perfect for when you're on the go. The carry case contains all you need for fun with your favorite Playmobil characters. There are a variety of sets to choose from including police, soccer players, fashion designers, vets, and more. Each one comes with one main character and all the accessories they need. For example, the soccer player comes with a ball and goal and the designer comes with a few outfits and a work station. My daughter's favorite was the vet, which also came with a few dogs.
