Daddy Caddy from Go Mama Go Designs Review

No man should have to lug around his wife’s diaper bag that is pink with lime green flowers and has cutesy little designs. Fathers are not considered when it comes to the diaper bag, there is an unspoken assumption that diaper bags are only for mothers. With the new Daddy Caddy from Go Mama Go Designs, dads can be stylish and prepared. The caddy packs an arsenal of diapers and wipes, armed and ready for multiple ways to carry, covert design for use anywhere, conceals personal items in zippered pocket, has water-resistant lining for unforeseen emergencies and it includes a matching wipes holder.

Our Thoughts

I love camo anything, whether for males or females, I just love it. My husband isn't a fan of carrying around my gold diaper bag so this was a good option for him to use when it's just he and our son. Also, I love using it just as much so I use it when I go out and about myself.

I am able to fit about 5 diapers in here and shove my keys or other items that I have on hand. With the wipes container, I like that it's not hard and bulky, and you can see through it to know how many wipes you have in there. I did have the issue of the zipper leaking the liquid from the wipes so they dried out. If it's just for a day trip it would work perfectly, but I would not use the wipes holder as a permanent wipes container.

The fabric is strong and sturdy, it doesn't seem like it'd tear apart easily, as in the seams are done quite well. The Daddy Caddy is also easy to clean. I've simply put it in the washer (on cold) and it cleans up any messes such as the hidden snacks my older ones will put in there and melt.

My favorite aspect of the Daddy Caddy is the huge hook on it. It clips onto the outside of a book bag, which makes it easy for hiking, and it's also large enough to click onto the handle of my stroller. I don't have to search around the bottom of the stroller for my diaper bag and then a smaller diaper package and wipes in order to do a quick change, it's just right there on the handle!

Holiday Gift Guide - timi & leslie Diaper Bag Review

timi & leslie’s designs are inspired by the philosophy that being a parent does not mean sacrificing style to gain function. With timi & leslie bags parents get the best of both worlds. They can look chic and stay organized.

The creation of timi & leslie revolutionized the diaper bag and ushered in an era where moms could also be style icons. In 2005, Women’s Wear Daily named timi & leslie number two on a list of those who have made a difference in the children’s business in the past 20 years. Sold throughout the U.S. and internationally at stores such as Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and buybuy BABY, timi & leslie pioneered the stylish yet functional diaper bag movement. With celebrity fans that include Angelina Jolie, Cindy Crawford, Courtney Cox Arquette, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba and Jack Black, timi & leslie bags are the choice of parents who know luxurious style, practical function and great quality.

A compartment and bag for all your needs!

Our Thoughts

I usually just use large purses as my diaper bag, thinking it would do just fine, but honestly I didn't have enough room. When I got the timi & leslie diaper bag I had fun opening it. There was a ton more things inside the bag than I expected, and honestly, more room than I actually need. At least compartment room, but I don't carry as many things as a lot of other mothers.

There are these cool slots inside and outside the bag where you can fit up to four bottles (one for each) if you're a bottle mom. I don't use bottles so I've utilized these spaces for easy-access of items that I need a lot, that are small, and that I don't want to dig around in the bag (any bag) for a long time to find it. The items I keep in the "bottle" spaces are teething tablets, his pacifier clip and his socks or footsies.

There is a circular bag that you can use for your biohazard materials, aka, dirty diapers. And it's wipeable material too so that's good. I use the small purse as an actual  purse, it fits my wallet perfectly and I have just enough room for my phone and keys. Makes it much easier to just grab that and my baby if I have to go inside somewhere real quick that doesn't require the whole ensemble.

There is a changing pad that has a mesh slot for the wipes container and at 27" my son still fits on it just fine. I really like the bag that keeps the diapers. It's zippered and the beige-colored item pictured above without the mesh. I can fit 8 diapers (disposables) in here, four in each stack and the bag will still fold so I can easily put it in the bottom of the diaper bag. Super versatile, and I haven't even gotten to the slots inside the bag and credit card slots. There is plenty of room for anything you can think of with this diaper bag and it comes with clips for a stroller (shown below) that makes it super convenient to get into instead of storing it down below!

Review: The Daddy Diaper Pack

The Daddy Diaper Pack
Now, there is a solution to stay organized in the form of a Daddy Diaper Pack made by Daddyscrubs.com that is the ultimate go-to bag for dads!  Organize baby paraphernalia in durable side pockets for water/baby bottles and sippy cups.  It includes a larger pouch for diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes (and Daddy's tablet if he's bringing it along).  And the front pocket will keep keys, money, cell phone, pacifier, and small toys all together for convenience. There is even an insulated cooler pocket for snacks!  For getting out and about with the kids whether it's hiking or biking or going to the zoo, this Daddy Diaper Pack will consolidate your daddy stuff and make the trip a little easier. Wouldn’t this bag be perfect for holiday shopping or travel?

Our Thoughts
My husband is used to carrying his laptop backpack to and from work or wherever else we go. He's an IT guy for one of our local hospitals so he's on-call every few weeks. Honestly, him taking the bloated backpack everywhere with us gets a bit annoying. Because of that I kind of forced him to try out the Daddy Diaper Pack.

Switching out his normal bag for the Daddy Diaper Pack he found a lot of things that he really didn't need to be carrying around like cables and papers. Hubby immediately commented that he loved being able to fit his MacBook Pro and an iPad easily into the back compartment while he still had room in the middle compartment for diapers, a changing pad, wipes, a set of clothes and a blankie for our Little Miss.

After using it for a couple days, Hubby raved about how comfortable the straps were for wearing the pack. He said that it contours to his back and is even more comfortable when using the chest clip to clip the straps together so they hug you. The only thing that he wanted to see more of were the pockets. The storage pockets are not very large but you can carry your wallet, keys, cell, and a couple toys in the upper zip pocket. The bottom zip pocket is insulated and you can easily get a couple bottles or a couple bags of breast milk and a bottle in there to take with on a trip. This bag is going to make going to the zoo with four kids easy! I can't wait to try out my very own Daddy Diaper Pack the next time we have a "field trip" somewhere with the kids!

You can visit Daddy Scrubs to see and order the Daddy Diaper Pack (retails at $69.95)! You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter.
