 4) POEM This is probably the hardest one to do but definitely worth it. It doesn't need to be long, or even that good, just make sure you put effort into it and they'll be able to recognise that.

 5) FUTURE PROMISES A future promise is always nice to hear and you can get really personal with these. Promising someone you'll forever be there for them is just wonderful.

 6) BUCKET LIST Write the things you want to experience with them; fly in a helicopter over New York? Go to the Everest base camp? Do a tandem bungee jump?

7) QUOTES Find their favourite quotes or ones you know they'll enjoy and put them on notes. Maybe even quote something they have said before - that could be fun!

8) LOVE This one is simple - just tell them how much you love and appreciate them. This is always wonderful to hear; at least one note should be dedicated to this.

I had the pleasure of trying this site. Here's what you do:

1. Go to www.treat.com and across the top you see an array of categories to choose from.

2. Choose Father's Day

3. Choose Father, grandfather, brother, like a dad, new dad, son, or husband. 

4. Browse tons of cards till you find one that screams, "This is it!"

5. Click on that card and then click on the blue box that says personalize.

6. Add your own text and your own photos of your dad or loved one. This is pretty easy to figure out. Boxes asking for your data pop up.

7. Click NEXT to view the inside. 

8. Repeat step 6.

9. Click NEXT to view the last page.

10. Add a tiny photo to the back

11. Click DELIVERY to add your sending and recipient address.

12. PAY with credit card

Here is the front of the one I had made and you can see the layout. (Yes, that's a picture of my father and I when I was a baby.)

They ship it to your dad or loved one for you by the day you request. All for less than four bucks. That's actually cheaper than the store, where you'll spend four for the card alone many times and then whatever a stamp is nowadays. ***Actually, if you do a package deal, you can get each card as low as 1.99 each. You buy 18 cards for that deal. 12 cards is 2.24 each. 6 cards is 2.49 each.***

Pros:

--You can make them and set up delivery time months in advance.

--You don't worry about it again.

--You don't have to go to the store, grit your teeth, and battle endless throngs of people and children.

--There are reminders.

--You can personalize it. Let's be honest here, most cards go in the trash and thus, fill up the landfills in outer space or wherever. Who is going to throw away a card with their face on it??? This pretty guarantees your card won't join the landfill.

--Out of stamps...or missing that one-cent stamp to make the stamps you have good? (It seems the price goes up randomly now!) Not a problem. It's all taken care of.

Cons:

--Unless you have it sent to yourself, you don't actually put an ink signature on it and have to settle for digital. Some of the more old-fashioned folks may not dig this.

Treat is a great company, and their cards are wonderful! I had so much fun personalizing my cards to send out! They're beautiful and the process is easy! A lot of companies say you can personalize things, but in reality, it's such a pain, and you end up angry and saying, "Forget it!" Not with Treat!
