When we think of mattress covers it's an obvious purchase for cribs and toddler beds, but what about "big boy/girl" beds, or even your own bed? And what about our pillows? They take in their own share of bloody noses, sweaty little heads and toddler/tween/teen tears. 

Our Thoughts

I did not expect this cover to be incredibly soft! This is not hard material that some think of when they hear "organic sheets", this is divine. Super easy to put on the mattress too, you don't have to pull real hard to get all four corners covered either, which I detest.

Even though I have two months left of pregnancy, I already have this on the bed. I have two kids, lets get real, they spill things. Honestly, I spill things, this cover is a lifesaver. Easy to take on and off and wash. I also like this much more than those toddler bed pee mat things that I used in my previous pregnancies in case my water broke in bed.  And while it may sound icky, breast milk leaks are a real thing in my case, even with nursing pads, and everyone knows babies can have accidents everywhere. I will definitely get good use out of this cover, it's perfect for every expecting and new mother!

aden + anais "Hayden's Heart" Swaddle Blanket

It is our pleasure to introduce the aden +anais’ “Hayden’s Heart” swaddle blanket. Inspired by Hayden Dorset, a young boy who lost his battle with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) but touchedthe lives of many long after his time here on earth.

On March 12, 2012, Hayden was born with a very rare birth defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Much of Hayden’s time on earth was spent in and out of the hospital and after just 5 months with his family, Hayden passed away.

The Hayden’s Heart swaddle was inspired by Hayden after his mother, Ady, wrote Raegan Moya-Jones, CEO of aden + anais and mother of four herself, a beautiful letter sharing their story. Whether it was nap time or bedtime, Hayden couldn’t fall asleep without the comfort of his aden + anais muslin swaddles.

Congenital Heart Disease is the #1 cause of birth defect-related deaths, and the leading cause of all infant deaths in the US. The collection will benefit Hayden's Heart, a not-for-profit whose mission is to raise awareness for CHD and help families affected by CHD with the burden of medical and travel expenses.

Our Thoughts

Babies being squished in the womb definitely like to be held close and tight when they've been welcomed to the world. Swaddling is such a great thing to do for baby and to give mom and dad a break of baby-holding to get some things done!

I'm a bit paranoid about "over-heating" or having my baby be too cold so I'm happy to be able to test out this material. It is very lightweight and breathable, long enough to be swaddles without it constantly coming undone like other normal blankets that I've used to try and swaddle. The review package came with more than one blanket for me too so I am really appreciative of that, now I have multiple for those spit-up mis-haps :)

I love that this blanket is representative of sweet Hayden, such a heart-breaking story, RIP little one.

Our Thoughts

I am a sucker for anything that smells tropical and these certainly do. They remind me of my mother's suntan lotion from childhood, one of my favorite smells. I've done a fair amount of cream and oil reviews and I consistently say that I am not a fan of oily-residue. I have been lucky enough to have had brilliant luck with all the products I've tested and TriLASTIN is no exception. This product rubs in great and anything left on your hand, just give them a good rub and your hands are moisturized too!

I've been using all three products for the past few weeks and they each work well on my skin. If I start to get a bit dry and itchy I put this on and it instantly hydrates my skin. I have a fair amount of stretchmarks from my previous pregnancies and so far they have not become any more noticeable than when I'm not pregnant. I think this is going to be a good product to keep me hydrated and hopefully my marks won't be come bright purple. I do not have a particular regimen of which cream I use at which time, I honestly just grab at random and feel they all work equally well on my skin.

Easy access doesn't get much easier than this folks. These dresses are perfect for every expecting mother, it does not matter what type of birth you have, there is a use for this dress, between monitoring, incision healing, and, well... you know that pushing part, can't exactly wear pants with that.

On top of the birthing, you can use this dress during your pregnancy as a maternity dress and after labor as a nursing dress! It's stylish and cute and no one is the wiser that it's main intention is to use during delivery!

The material is a bit heavy, but breathy as well. It is going to be perfect to wear throughout the rest of my pregnancy during spring and summer. Fits snug but not tight and I can wear it now all the way past dooms day. This is the best, versatile dress you could ask for when you're expecting an addition. So many uses!
