My Thoughts
Bernadette is a devoted wife and mother, but for years, she's put her own goal and aspirations on the back burner. Once she had dreamed of being an architect and now she's ready to get back into her field. The trouble is she also struggles with social anxiety and has to overcome her demons to achieve her goals. Working to overcome her fears, she steps back out in the world. After seeing the film, I definitely intend to grab a copy of the novel that inspired it.
Wow, is this a story every mom can relate to. Family is a blessing, but we all need to take some time to fulfill our dreams. This film will give women everywhere that nudge them need to put down the laundry and follow her heart. It really is possible to have a family and still do YOU. The film itself has moments of humor and some valuable life lessons. If you want to watch this awesome film for yourself, it is available in stores now or online at Amazon.
