My Thoughts

Transformers has been around since I was a kid. Even though it was mostly for boys, I always loved the shows, movies, and action figures. When I had kids we enjoyed watching them again together. This new series is a great addition to the Transformers legacy. Lots of old favorites make a reappearance, like Optimus Prime and Bumblebee but the storylines are fresh and new.  This season even gives a little shout to the 90s. This DVD set includes ten exiting episodes plus deleted scenes and bonuses.

My Thoughts

The original Super Mario Brothers first came out when I was eleven. Now my youngest son is eleven and he loves Super Mario Brothers more than anything else. Seeing the Super Mario Bros Movie was top of our bucket list this year and this film didn't disappoint.  The movie delves deeper in the backstory of Mario and Luigi who are working as plumbers. When their world in threatened, they join forces with some friends including Princess Peach and Toad to fight the evil Bowser. While the ending is a little predictable, its definitely lots of fun to watch the story unwind. One of the coolest features of the movie is how they manage to incorporate so many aspects of the different video games. This is definitely a film we'll be watching again and again.
 

The Super Mario Bros Movie is a really awesome animated movie packed with adventure and awesome graphics. My Thoughts

The Turtles return to New York with one goal in mind--to destroy Shredder once and for all. With April providing remote computer assistance from the lair, the Turtles face off against new enemies and old.  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles  has been around since I was a kid and now my own children are enjoying t his new incarnation. This DVD set includes all 124 episodes on the series in one convenient set, giving you hours of back-to-back action. I've watched this series with my  son before, but its was great getting to binge watch all the seasons back to back. Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin is a new series that is a spin off the of the original Pretty Little Liars. This series centers around the children of the original characters. Their parents ran away to hide from the terrible things they did in their youth, but someone wants them to pay and they're going after their children as part of their revenge.  The first season includes ten episodes.

My Thoughts

Star Trek: Prodigy is an exciting new animated addition to the Star Trek franchise. This series brings us some younger characters that include six vivacious teens. They had a hard time in the past but form new bonds together and they travel through the galaxies. They aren't familiar with the ship, but they learn as they go and have a lot of fun along the way. The animations allows for unlimited options as far as scenery and really enhances the show. I'm excited to see what happens in the next season. My Thoughts

The Undoing centers around a couple that has it all. Grace and Jonathan have great jobs and the perfect family, until one day someone is murdered and Jonathan disappears. Then Grace's world in turned upside down. This season includes six exciting episodes:

The Missing: Grace runs to her father's house but can't outpace the detectives.

Victor and Valentino is a fun new cartoon airing on the Cartoon Network that centers around two half brothers who are learning to bond with one another. My family really enjoyed this series. We were fans of the Crystal Gems and they this has the same feel. There are lots of laughs, but also some family drama and lots of great folklore. My Thoughts

Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob is a fun addition to the franchise. In this  movie, Scooby travel back in time to join King Arthur at the round table. Soon, they find themselves wrapped up in a whole new mystery. If they don't help Arthur save his throne, history could be changed forever. The movie is packed with mystery and fun. And of course, there's always an exciting unmasking at the end of the movie.

This DVD brought my childhood back to the forefront. Scooby-Doo was my favorite show when I was a kid. I can see myself sitting in the kitchen with the wood paneling, watching the old shows all summer long. I'm so excited to have the chance to share new movies with my own children. Masterpiece: All Creatures Great and Small Season 1 l DVD

 Fresh out of Glasgow Veterinary College, James Herriot (Nicholas Ralph) follows his dream to become a vet in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales. He soon discovers that treating the animals is as much about treating their owners, and the Dales farmers are a tough crowd to please.

At Skeldale House James gets to know his newly formed dysfunctional family; his chaotic and erratic boss Siegfried Farnon (Samuel West), his wayward brother Tristan (Callum Woodhouse) and the shrewd housekeeper Mrs. Hall (Anna Madeley) who is endlessly steering the ship. When local farmers daughter Helen Alderson (Rachel Shenton) attracts James attention, he finds another, more enduring reason to stay in the Dales.

My Thoughts 

All Creatures Great and Small is a fun PBS series that centers around a young vet named James. Once he starts working in Yorkshire, he meets the colorful locals as well as their pets and learns they can all be quite a handful. His boss is also a little quirky. At home, his family and even the housekeeper also keep his on his heels. Every day is an adventure for this small town vet.

I really enjoyed this series. Its packed with laughs. As an animal lover, I really enjoyed the four-legged cast members in this fun series as well as the fun historical references. Mister Rogers' Neighborhood: Mister Rogers Meets New Friends Collection DVD

My Thoughts

Mr. Rogers has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was a little girl, I used to sit and watch it with my grandparents.  I have so many great memories from my own childhood, and my four children have grown up watching it was well. This DVD set brings together some of the best episodes featuring some awesome guest stars. A full cast of stars come together to honor this icon and share stories.

I just love this show. It's a timeless classic that kids have enjoyed for generations. Each show teaches kids valuable lessons about emotions, acceptance, and education. I also love how Mr. Rogers has always stood up for children, and fought to make his show available to everyone. With Mr. Rogers, it's always a beautiful day in the neighborhood. It's been fifty great years, and I'm sure he will continue to entertain kids for many years to come.  This DVD honoring his legacy and teaching kids about making new friends is a wonderful way to keep the tradition alive. My Thoughts

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is adorable series about a little tiger and his friends, and all their fun adventures. This DVD has several great shows that center around learning about friendship and lots of different activities.  There are fifty episodes that cover the full spectrum of fun.

My children just love this show. Daniel and his friend all have personalities that kids can relate to, and every episode is educational.  Any fan of Daniel will want this DVD in their collection. Grab a copy on Amazon or on PBS.org.

Ronnie Anne is an independent, skateboard loving 11-year-old who moved to the big city with her mom and brother to live with their extended family, the Casagrandes. My Thoughts

The Casagrandes is a fun spin of the Loud House. In centers around Ronnie Anne and her extended family. They all live together in one house and run a market. In addition to the family, they are lots of colorful townspeople who make the show even more interesting. In every episode, Ronnie and her friends have lots of fun and go on many exciting adventures in the city. This first episode includes twenty episodes.
