My Thoughts
Adrift is an exciting film about new love and big danger. In this movie, two young people named Shailene and Sam meet by chance while on a trip of a lifetime. There is instant chemistry between them, and they decide to go out on a boat together. When the weather overwhelms their small boat, they are stranded in the ocean. Sam is hurt, and they have no way to call for help. This story of their survival is filled with bravery and a little passion.
This was a great movie. It has everything I look for in a film. There was action, danger, adventure, and romance. It's amazing how much can happen on such a small stage. Almost the whole movie is filmed on a small boat drifting in the ocean. The stars don't have many props to back them up, so they really have to rely on their talent to make it believable, and they did an amazing job.
