Cannot find your child? Do not worry, Our Family Safety Radio can help! Call your kid from the secure Adult Radio and your child or someone nearby can answer from the Child Radio without a press of a button. The red LED light will also flash and can be seen from a distance. The Child Radio comes with a lanyard which can be worn by the child. The ergonomically designed Adult Radio operates within a 5-mile radius when paired with the Child Radio. It comes with full features: roger beep confirmation tone, power saver circuitry extends battery life and call alert provides a recognizable alert for incoming calls.
My Thoughts
This is a great little set of radios for your family. They are super convenient and VITAL for families who hike or camp, or even for families who just like to go to a large park together. As a parent who used to be able to watch all the NCIS and Law & Order shows, but now watching something happen to children makes me nauseous, safety is always something you have to be concerned about no matter what situation you are in. These are perfect because it is two sets of an adult radio and a kid radio together. So you get two adult radios each paired with its own color coordinated child radio. They come already paired so you do not have to worry about anything. They have an amazing five mile radio. When we used them we were on the mountains skiing. It was perfect tool for us to be able to communicate across the mountain with each other.
There are some amazing features that we have not gotten to use yet, but I am very excited about. They are waterproof which is great for camping or water parks. They also have a neat safety feature. If your kid doesn't know where he or she is then a person, without having to touch your child or the remote, which is very important, can say the child's location. This is a smart and safe feature, because it keeps the idea of personal space. All in all I love these walkie talkies for when we travel or know we could be separated.
