PBS Distribution has announced that they will be releasing "DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD: TIGER FAMILY TRIP" on DVD May 16. The DVD has a run time of 60 minutes and an SRP of $14.99. This DVD contains 7 stories from the beloved PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. Below is a listing of the episodes included on the DVD along with a description.
“Tiger Family Trip (extended adventure)”
The Tiger Family is heading out on a road trip to Grandpere’s house! At first, Daniel doesn’t know what to expect on the ride, but when Mom Tiger gives him a helpful map, he learns that there are many exciting things to do and see when you’re on a trip with your family.
“Visiting Grandpere”
The Tiger Family is visiting Grandpere’s house and Daniel notices all of the things that are different and all of the things that are the same. Then, Grandpere and Daniel spend time together hunting for buried treasure.
“The Tiger Family Goes Back Home”
It’s Daniel’s last day visiting Grandpere! Grandpere takes him on a special sunrise boat ride before the Tiger Family heads back to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe.
“The Neighborhood Carnival”
The Neighborhood Carnival is in town, and Daniel can’t stop thinking about riding the Ferris wheel for the very first time. But when he gets to the carnival, he feels both excited and scared. Will Daniel ride the Ferris wheel, or wait until next year?
“Fireflies and Fireworks”
Daniel and his family are enjoying a picnic in the backyard when they get some unexpected visitors – fireflies! Margaret gets scared, but big brother Daniel is there to hold her hand during this new experience. Later, there is a fireworks show and it’s Daniel who needs a helping hand for this new experience.
“The Lemonade Stand”
Daniel and Prince Wednesday are making a lemonade stand together. But when they don’t agree about how to hand out the lemonade, they need to learn to express their anger so they can find a solution…and provide lemonade for their neighbors!
“Mad at the Beach”
Daniel is at the beach with Miss Elaina and they’re building a sandcastle. Suddenly, the creation they worked so hard to make gets knocked down by a wave, and that makes them mad, mad, MAD! Dad teaches the kids that it helps to express your mad feelings.

My Thoughts
Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood is adorable series about a little tiger and his friends, and all their fun adventures. This DVD set is all about taking trips with his family and other exciting adventures that will get you in the mood for summer. There are seven episodes in all including:

My children just love this show. Daniel and his friend all have personalities that kids can relate to, and every episode is educational. Any fan of Daniel will want this DVD in their collection.
