DISH just rolled out several amazing new features, including the Sports Bar Mode which has arrived just in time for the NCAA tournament first-round games. This special mode, also known as the multi-view, is something that sports lovers everywhere are going to appreciate. The Sports Bar Mode is a multi-channel view that divides your screen into quadrants,giving each one the ability to display a different program.
Sports Bar Mode works with all livechannels in DISH’s programming lineup, as well as on demand content, recorded TV shows, and movies. To access the feature,simply press the “Options” button on the remote control, select “Picture In Picture,” then select “MultiView.” Once the TV screen is divided into quadrants. Sports Bar Mode is compatible with both 4K and HD televisions when connected to a Hopper 3. The Hopper 3 includes lots of additional multi-channel configurations, including a split-screen feature, and a setting that overlays a second channel in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Oh wow, my son would love the sports bar mode! We have been thinking about changing, as our cable is going to high. Seems every year they keep inching up!
