Review & Giveaway: Primal Pit Paste

Primal Pit Paste
Killing the odor without killing your body!

At last, a truly organic, all-natural deodorant that ACTUALLY WORKS!All our products are handcrafted from organic and natural ingredients. You could eat this stuff! (But we suggest rubbing it on your smelly pits, not your morning toast!) This is not an antiperspirant, but you would not know it because it keeps you dry. It is important to sweat and release toxins. Most deodorants and antiperspirants not only keep the toxins in by preventing you from sweating, but they are designed to absorb into the skin. And what are you absorbing? Aluminum and Parabens, to name just few harmful chemicals linked to Alzheimer's and Cancer.
WE BELIEVE THAT WHAT YOU PUT ON YOUR BODY IS AS IMPORTANT AS WHAT YOU PUT IN IT!

What are you absorbing with Primal Pit Paste? Things that are known to be good for you!
  • Organic Coconut Oil, which has many health benefits for your brain and overall health.
  • Organic, Raw Grade A Shea Butter, which has amazing properties like vitamin A and D which are great for your skin. In Africa, shea butter is used for cooking. It is derived from the nut of shea karite -tree. The shea butter we buy is fair trade, which is helping to support the women in Africa.
  • Non-Aluminum Baking Soda is a powerful odor-fighting ingredient!
  • Organic Arrowroot Powder is used as a thickener and helps with soaking up moisture while you sweat out those toxins!
No Fragrances here! There is a big difference. Our essential oils smell nice when you apply Primal Pit Paste or smell it from the jar, but the scent will not stay with you, so they wont affect any other body scents  you may use.  We scent our Pit Paste with only 100% organic or wildcrafted essential oils (*wildcrafted when organic is not available) We never use a synthetic chemical fragrance.

PRIMAL PIT PASTE IS AVAILABLE IN EITHER JARS OR ROLL ON STICKS.

Primal Pit Paste is available in Primal Pit Paste Light, Strong* and Kids varieties.

Not sure which one is for you?
Everyone’s body chemistry is unique and different. Both work great, but we suggest you might start with the regular Primal Pit Paste to acclimate to the pH of the baking soda, and if you need an extra punch try Primal Pit Paste strong, with more baking soda.*

How does it work?
Baking soda kills the bacteria that causes odor and organic arrowroot powder helps you to feel dry while allowing you to still sweat and release toxins. These powders are mixed in a base of moisture rich and anti-microbial organic coconut oil and organic shea butter to soothe skin. We added beeswax to our popular Primal Pit Paste formula so that we can offer the same great organic deodorant in a convenient stick form!

This product is hand-crafted to ensure that every stick only contains the finest organic products. NO Aluminum, NO Parabens, NO Toxic Chemicals, NO Fragrances, NO Corn, NO Gluten, NO GMOs and absolutely NO Bad Stuff!!
GIVEAWAY!!

I'm a big fan of all things natural.  My son & I follow the paleo way of eating, and I make the majority of our health & beauty products.  But finding a natural deodorant has proved to be challenging.  I've tried many brands without success, until Primal Pit Paste

Primal Pit Paste sent me the Jacked Up Jasmine Primal Pit Paste, and the Lavender Primal Pit Paste Stick for review.  I had to open them both up right away and the scents were wonderful.  I thought, I sure hope I smell as good after using them!
I tried the Lavender stick first - it is stiff and a little difficult to apply; it's not as smooth as a commercial (aluminum & paraben filled!!) deodorant, but let it warm against your skin for a bit and it softens up a little.  I'm impatient though, I'm sure I could let it warm up more than I do!
I've tried just about every brand of deodorant, both commercial and natural, out there - I can't stand the scents of the commercial ones, and all the natural ones not only didn't do anything for wetness (most don't claim to, anyway!) but didn't keep me smelling fresh, either.  Epic fail.  Now the Lavender Primal Pit Paste Stick, I LOVE!!  I can't say enough good things about this one.  It does what it's supposed to do - keeps me fairly odorless, and much, much dryer than I expected!  I gave it a run for its money - I tried it on hot days and hot days while wearing a polyester shirt (you all know how bad polyester shirts can smell in the armpit area!).  And it worked!  I'm sold!!
The Jacked Up Jasmine . . . well, I wish I could say I loved it.  While I'm sure the paste is just as effective as the stick - it has the same ingredients minus the beeswax, it just did NOT work with my body chemistry.  While the scent of the essential oils is supposed to fade away and not stick with you, the gardenia in that one to an especially fine liking to me and would NOT leave.  It was so overpowering I washed it off after only 10 minutes because it became headache inducing - and even then I could still faintly smell it.  So, I gave that one to my mom since she is able to wear that type of scent.  On her - not only did it work great as a deodorant like the lavender does for me, the scent didn't last on her at all - just like it's supposed to (or not supposed to?? whatever, LOL!!)! Point is, she loved it.
What really drew me to try Primal Pit Paste is the ingredients.  There isn't a single ingredient in there I don't already use on either a daily or every-few-days basis, which is important to me because I'm already familiar with what I'm using, and how I'll react to it.  Now, some people may be sensitive to baking soda's pH.  Primal Pit Paste has a great FAQ's page that addresses how to overcome it.  Another awesome benefit of Primal Pit Paste (besides the obvious health reasons!) is that since it doesn't contain aluminum, it won't stain the armpit area of your clothes yellow.  I've lost many a white shirt that way, but no more!!
Highly recommended by me! Big HUGE thumbs up!!
