My Thoughts
The NERF Rebelle Star Shot Target Set and Crossbow gives girls the chance to get into the action with a new style created just for them. The crossbow and ammo are designed in a trendy pattern of pink, purple, white and gray perfect for tween girls.
The crossbow requires some very minor assembly. The bow arms slide right into place so it only takes a few seconds and you're ready to load up. The set comes with six Styrofoam darts in pink and purple with suctions cups on the end as well as a really nice dart board. The crossbow shoots with surprising force. Not only do the pieces stick to the board, they even stuck to our ceiling. Yet, because the darts are so soft, you don't have to worry about injuries if someone gets hit with one. The two different colored darts allow you to play with an opponent, but it's just as much for independent play.
Another really awesome feature of this crossbow is the laser that allows you to aim for the target with much greater precision. My daughter loved the NERF crossbow and has been having fun with it both indoors and out. It's a great value for the money, especially considering the batteries are included. If you're looking for an Easter gift for tween girls, this Rebelle Star Shot would be a great choice.
