Parental Guidance Blu-Ray Review

Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei prove that laughter is relative in this hilarious comedy that’s fun for the whole family!

Old-school grandparents Artie (Crystal) and Diane (Midler) get more than they bargained for when they get stuck babysitting their type-A daughter’s (Tomei) overprotected kids. But things go from hectic to hysterical when Artie realizes the kids are running the house with their newfangled technology. By playing by his own rules, which include sugary snacks, old fashioned games and tough love, Artie manages to outsmart the kids and achieve the impossible- bring the family closer together!

To celebrate Parental Guidance now on Blu-ray and DVD, we are debuting some hilarious family ecards for grandparents and children alike! Grab your family have a laugh with the film and the cards!

My Thoughts

With this great cast you won't be be disappointed. When parents and grandparents get together its a battle of old school versus new school when it comes to discipline and interaction with the kids. Hilarious havoc ensues when the two worlds collide. Bette Midler and Billie Crystal were amazing as the grandparents. I loved their interactions with the children and how the kids warmed up to them. This is a great story for family movie night because its a film people of all generations can enjoy and relate to.  Despite the slapstick humor, this film also has some touching moments that remind us of traditional family values. In our world of technology, we often forget the fun of the simple things. This movie reminds us to take time for things like walks in the park or  family game night. All in a great movie and recommend. 4 stars.
