ScentSationals Review & Giveaway

I have been wanting to try out ScentSationals for awhile now, and I just never got around to it.  I have always loved to burn candles, but with a toddler and a cat who likes to set his tail on fire, candles can be dangerous. So if course I was really excited to have the chance to review a few of the amazing products from ScentSationals including a warmer, plug in warmer, and several scents.  I was really impressed with what they have to offer, and I definitely think I'm hooked.

The ScentSationals warmer is simple to use. It comes with a small light bulb. You just plug it in, and the heat from the bulb melts the wax.  I was really amazed at how quickly it filled the house with scent. Just a few squares of wax, and my whole house was fragrant.  It has been about a week now, and I have only used half a package. And I have it going at least a few hours a day. When you can get a bar for around $3.99 and sometimes even less, you are looking at a big savings over traditional candles. Clean up is easy too. Just put the tray in the freezer and the left over wax comes right off.   The warmers come in so many fun styles, its easy to find one to match any decor. I went with the Country Stars ScentSationals Warmer and it looks adorable on my counter top! The plug in warmer works just as well and its nice for smaller areas. I have mine in the bathroom, up high where little figures can't reach, and the room has never smelled fresher. Plus it adds a touch of classy decor. I have only used one scent so far, the Almond Biscotti ,which smells awesome. The others I just opened the packages to take a little sniff, and they are all just as wonderful. You can't go wrong with the classic vanilla bean, vanilla woods offers a fresh earthy scent, and the lemon twist reminds me that spring is on the way.

I worked in the insurance industry for 15 years, and I know that 90% of accidental house fires are caused when people forget to blow out a candle. True Story-I had one lady who's cat knocked over a candle, and set her kitchen curtains on fire. She took off her slipper to try to put it out. When the slipper caught on fire (duh) she threw it into the living room resulting in a total loss. Actually, all but one of the fires I dealt with in all that time were caused by candles.   You can avoid having this type of thing happen. ScentSationals is offering a much safer alternative than the standard flame. I also think that in the long term, it will create a lot less waste than jars because the packaging for the bars is small, and can actually be recycled.
