New Age Mama Hosts A Toy Story 3 Action Links Stunt Sets In-Home Party!

I'm sure you've all seen the commercials. They are sure to be a big hit for the 2010 holiday season. Kids of all ages are scampering to get the coolest toys that go along with the coolest movie of the year.  What are they? We received a huge box of Toy Story 3 actions links lets as well as ten packages of action figures to give out as party favors. It drove my kids insane seeing those toys sitting in the kitchen for a week. I wouldn't let them open it until the party. When the day finally arrived, they were so excited they were bouncing off the walls. I thought setting up the tracks would be complicated, so I started early in the morning. But it turned out to take only a few minutes to get all it together. Each piece snaps together easily with little to no effort. The kids are able to mix and match pieces from different packages with no problems. There are hundreds of combinations, making for endless variety.  When we had it all set up, it took up most of my living room floor.

We invited eight kids over for our party. Including my two, that made a total of ten kids. Plus the baby who REALLY wanted to join in, but couldn't since it does contain small pieces that could be a choking hazard. You'd think things would have been hectic. But never in my life have I seen a group of kids so mesmerized by a toy.  They loved setting up the obstacles again and again and watching Woody, Buzz, Jessie and all the rest fly around in a hilarious chain reaction.  But pictures speak louder than words.  The kids had so much fun watching  the different tricks and stunts. It was especially exciting when they got every single one of them to work with no break in the chain. The characters get to ride cars and trains, swoop down through a play ground, fly in a pig shaped space ship, get picked up by a crane and more.  All in all, we had a very exciting day.
