New Age Mama Hosts A Healthy Home Party
I was very excited to learn I had been chosen to host a Healthy Baby Home Party which was sponsored by many of my favorite companies including Seventh Generation, Natura, Luna, Kleen Kanteen and more. This past weekend, I was able to get four mom's and ten kids involved in our get together. It was a great experience and we all learned new ways to help out mother earth and keep our homes green and clean.
Setting up for the party was simple since the sponsors gave me everything I needed. I started out by sending email invites so no paper would be wasted. I was sent a variety of exciting coupon and samples to make gift bags for my guests using little hemp bags that are reusable and completely biodegradable. Everyone got to try a ton of coupons and trial sizes of baby wipes, laundry detergent, luna bars and dish soap. They were a big hit all around, and several of the girls emailed me later to tell me how great the lavender laundry detergent from EOS made their laundry smell.
There were lots of fun activities planned for the party. First of all, everyone got to taste taste the Luna Bar which were a big hit with the kids an parents. The best thing is that they are good for you and they taste great. Next, we sat back with our snacks to watch the DVD that was hosted by actress Any Brenneman.. It really helped to open your eyes about all the things we are doing to our world with chemicals and what we can do to change things.
Next we looked through all the great coupons for organic and green products that we received and talked about which ones we new about and which were great new finds. Finally, we had a drawing for the bigger samples I only had one of. My friend Donna was the lucky grand prize winner and she received some organic baby socks, a green canteen and more. All in all, it was a great night. There's nothing better than getting together with friends. Except when you're getting together for a purpose. And what better purpose is there than making our homes healthy. If you'd like to host a party or just learn more about the sponsors, check out Healthy Child.org.
